Uruguay not gonna get out of this group?

Couple of Uruguay fans giving the coach a cussing as he left the pitch

There weren’t any stoppages during time added on, so why would you extend the match to let them take the free kick?

A Uruguay 1-0 win over Spain and a Cape Verde 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia would be outstanding for the US

In the offensive third you generally give that.

What a day in Group H... Spain goes in front & Cape Verde is still alive
Spain's 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia moves the Spanish into 1st place with 4 points after 2 matches.
Cape Verde gets another stunning draw... a 2-2 result against Uruguay to get another point.
Both Cape Verde & Uruguay have 2 points, 0 goal differential, and now a tie against each other, setting up a very important match day 3 for both teams.
With the loss to Spain, Saudi Arabia falls to last place with 1 point and now needs a result against arguably the darlings of the tournament right now, Cape Verde, to even have a chance to make it out of the group stage

Imagine the worldwide melt if USAs knockout path to the semis was
Qatar in the R32
Iran in the R16
Cape Verde in the QF
