Spain was my world cup favorite because of their midfield


I guess France and Argentina still really are the true favorites still.

Spain has this issue every single tournament not being able to break a parked bus

The handful of time Verde has pushed up the field Spain completely wasted it by putzing it up the field.

They have no desire for a quick counter, which is exactly what they needed this game.

This looks like the Spain from the last two WCs but not the Spain from the past Euro - which had more attacking flair and decisiveness
So I guess I'm surprised but not really
