Holy moly if the United States advances farther than Argentina.

Cabo Verde is the team of the Tournament.
No matter what happens from here, they've proven that they belong, not just a team getting in because of expanding the field.

One of my new favorite things in soccer is watching Messi literally walk 75% of the match

I don't know if Cabo Verde can hold on for 30 more minutes without conceding. I hope they do.

Cape Verde has about the same population as Modesto

Good timing on that concern post

Physically they can hold on fine
Mentally it’s just beyond exhausting

CV defender got thrown to the ground there

I’m gonna need them to look at that goal from 20 different angles until they find a way to disqualify it.

I wouldn’t be entirely shocked if that was taken away for a foul off the ball.

Exactly what I use for my example of why speed isn't important in soccer when someone says "Imagine if Tyreek Hill (or some other fast NFL player) played soccer. With his speed he'd dominate
"
No he wouldn't. Speed helps, but it's way down the list of attributes required to be great at soccer.

Argentina better keep up the pressure.

Welp
When that bounced around I figured he would smash it and that's all it takes

I guess Cape Verde could only park the bus for so long...

All thanks to a botched clearance

…there’s a legit argument the offside player interfered there
