The camera guys suck at finding hot chicks in the crowd. The water breaks should be nothing but them scanning the crowd for talent. Watching Sweden and The Netherlands and I think they showed one attractive woman. Damn shame.

The worst thing about this World Cup was all the doom and gloom in the lead up to it.

Once the first ball was kicked, all of that went away and it's been nothing but a fantastic display of sport and vibes so far.

That sucks but when I was working nights last week it sure was nice having something to watch to pass the time.

The worst thing to see is even after massive amounts of ethnicities have came to this country for the first time and absolutely falling in love with our people, food and cultures, we still have a faction of citizens hell bent on claiming how awful we still are. I can’t count the number of compliments I’ve seen and how proud I am of how kind most have been to the foreigners, only to see some people still bashing us and saying we’re an awful country. The worst part about this cup is when those people, who loved their visit to the US, leave, we’ll be back to being stuck with them.

EASILY the ticket prices.

Other countries aren't beholden to ticket brokers.

The elite players could be spread a little more evenly and in prime weekend TV slots. 3 of the biggest stars are playing on a Monday at 12 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm. Norway and France are playing on a weekday afternoon. US did as well.

Also it seems like there's some weather concerns tonight in the northeast for the France and Norway games, not that that can be helped.

Some of these matchups are just plain boring.

Jordan and Algeria?

Who wants to watch that on television let alone attend it in person?

That it's going to end and we won't host for another 30 years.

and still $700+ for nose bleeds

Ticket prices and start times have definitely been the worst thing. Most Americans are used to morning games with the EPL, and I doubt anyone who goes to a game is going into the office prior.

once we get into the rd of 16 and we start getting days without games, that's going to hit like a brick.

I'm not sure why it was scheduled out this way, but after the straight soccer cocaine that will be the third round of group play where we will have 6 matches a day, the first day of the Round of 32 only has one match scheduled (Sunday, June 28).

I have no idea why it's scheduled that way, but that's going to feel so weird... only for there to be four matches the following Monday.

Someone correct me, but I'm pretty sure dates and times were already selected for the matches prior to the draw.

I give it 12 years before our next cup. The money is too good.

It's the ticket prices.

With the hydration breaks I figured they would do side by side showing what's going on in the stadium on one side and the ads on the other. They've done this before with other sports. But I've only seen that once so far.
