What category do you put them in?

Superfan?
KHag?
Vandy Whistlers?

I’m not sure where I’d have them...
Sometimes they are great at others they seem annoying attention seeking nuts

No idea what these mean.

But I think they are a net positive. If nothing else, just for setting up watch parties across the country, spreading awareness of when games are, and pregame parties/tailgates.

I’ll never rag on people who actually get up and go to the games.

They also help provide a direct line of communication between the fans and the federation. How much the federation cares about that is another discussion.

It's good for growth of the game.

They're kinda soft tho.

I'm a member. I signed up a few years ago because it made it much easier to get tickets for the USA Mexico game in 2013 and I have renewed my membership each year. I ignore most of the emails I get, but it has certainly made it easier to get tickets for games in Columbus. At this point, I'll keep it in case there's any benefit for when 2026 rolls around.

I agree. I wish they would have been a little more tough when we didn't qualify for the WC, but I get not pissing off the USSF too much.

They are what the game needs for a fan group for now to bring in more/new fans.

Basically this. Plus people go to away games from the outlaws. So got to give those frickers props catching games all over the world.

They held a pretty awesome pregame party for Ghana in Natal in 2014 and I don't know wtf I would have done without their organization to make a safe, fun place to be. Handing out scarves and other free goodies. Probably been drugged and woken up on gameday in a bathtub missing a kidney.

Good group. Buddy of mine started AO in KC. Tailgates are fun and usually free booze/food and a press to get badges and names on your kit.

Fun to meet up with other fans pre stadium walk. Walk into NRG pre Argentina was a good one.

Sat next to one at the GC game in Frisco a few years ago (not sure why he wasn't with the group) and he was super awesome to my son and gave him his scarf. So theres an okc outlaws scarf hanging in my game room now and I'll always say nice things about them.

what the hell kind of frat kids are you hanging around

Honestly, "frat boy" may be the answer to "what is the opposite of a diehard member of a soccer supporter group in the US"

Like all supporter groups, I'm legitimately glad they exist but they're dorky and kinda try hard

Been a member since 2014. I buy tickets through them for every US match I go to and it was very helpful to get them for the last Mexico game in Columbus. It's allowed me to meet many friends and it's cool to meet members from all across the country. The discount from world soccer shop is nice and I've also used their budget rental car code and got a decent deal.
