Not only factoring your USMNT expectations, but just the tournament as a whole.

For me, I'm shocked at how meh I am right now about a World Cup hosted in the US. I'm sure I'll get more jacked about it when it starts, but we're 40 days out and I'm not as enthused as I have been at this point in past World Cups.

Was more excited when the Euro cup was going on a couple years ago honestly

Like negative. I’ve been looking forward to this since it was announced, and now with one of our best generations of players feel totally meh.

I was excited when it was finally official.

Then a little less excited when the US was slated all west coast for group games, including 2 at the same damn place

And what excitement I had left completely turned to disappointment when FIFA put us through draws and lotteries, just to be left with $2k tickets for US and minimum $500 for games with countries most Americans can't find on a map.

I'll be watching and supporting my favorite sports team, but it's frustrating how bad the execution has been for this.

It’ll be more exciting towards the end of the month.

As I stated in another thread, I’m excited in anticipation of a complete shite show. Half empty stadiums, ICE wrecking shop with world football fans coming to spend thousands in the US, and transportation breakdowns will be the order of the day. I’m here for it.

As for the tournament, I think it’s France’s to lose, pulling for England and hoping Erling Haaland can get Norway into the knockouts. Don’t really care about the USMNT because this team is average, meh, uninspiring and completely outmatched by the top 10-15 world teams. Also, any modicum of success the USMNT may have will be co-opted and claimed by a certain orange tinted fellow.

Zero as of today... I am sure I'll get into it once it starts..

Doesn't help that my interest in the USMNT has fallen off a cliff in the past decade... can't recall the last time I have watched a match..

I'm not looking forward to American announcers, but will laugh at the half empty stadiums in the group stage.

How? Travelers have to get B-2 visas before entry, and they're typically valid for up to six months. The FIFA PASS system also expedites issuance by the embassies in many countries.

Have you not kept up with ICE tactics these last 12 months? Doesn’t matter what kind of visa you have. If you don’t look like you belong (in their opinion) and they set upon you, no paper or visa or passport or birth certificate is going to stop them from “wrecking shop.”

I guarantee you there will be many brown people who come here to watch their national team play (with proper credentials) football who end up in a concentration camp in Texas or Louisiana.

You do know the laws are the same as last time we hosted a world cup right? You are basically saying, break laws and come to our country illegally. And for that I'm going to call you a piece of shite. So go frick yourself.

Oh and try getting around brazil you stupid frick.

Take this retardness to the politard board.

No. I’m not excited at all about this World Cup and it bothers me that I’m not considering I’ve been pumped about it for 3 years. FIFA blows.

I was really excited when we were announced hosts. Then came the US only playing on the west coast, then came the FIFA ticket debacle. I had plans to attend several matches in KC, I might still if ticket prices drop. If not, I'll stay home and watch. I'm pretty much at the bottom of the excitement scale at this point.

What in the frick does that have to do with anything?

If you support the Mexican national team, you should be deported for supporting a terrorist organization. Obviously an exemption should be made for thick latinas.

FIFA bullshite was expected. They may be the most corrupt organization on the planet.

However, I think collectively the state of affairs within the US National team and how we’re a bunch of pussies with a lack of identity has hampered our expectations.
