I think Hudson knew from the start he was never going to be the head coach and left for an offer to make some good money to coach in Qatar.

I am surprised he didn’t stay for this weekend though.

Even if you think Gregg is a reasonably solid manager -

a) you publicly waffled on him and sent the signal of no confidence to...the world

b) you led the supporters down a long road telling them a change was coming and then reverted back, sucking a ton of energy out of the fanbase

It's just inexplicable how the organization operates

Agreed.

Having an interim and then an interim to the interim is completely inexcusable if you hire the original coach back to his position.

The 2 biggest indictments against berhalter for me are his comments in the World Cup

1 - “we put Jordan Morriss in for speed and athleticism,” then did nothing to change attack ti take advantage of supposed speed and athleticism

2- “we don’t have a Memphis Depay, who’s scoring goals in the champions league”. Memphis had last scored a CL goal in 2020, while Christian Pulisic had last scored a CL goal in 2022.

It’s either outright lies or blatant ignorance. Neither of which are acceptable.

If we get knocked out at home in the round of 16 in 2026 and I see the words “US Soccer would like to thank Coach Berhalter for his service,” I can’t be held responsible for my actions.

That's an abysmal result. Home field advantage and we couldn't get a coach worth anything???

There was one MLS player on the pitch last night and BJ said afterwards that he has been in constant contact with Gregg on roster and tactics, sooooooo....?

I fricking hate this answer from Gregg, just a bunch of empty words without acknowledging that the whole reason you were gone was because of one of the stupidest sagas in USMNT history.

Lol, Crocker just said he basically hired Gregg because the players wanted him.

Well frick, that's a terrible way to go about it.
