I really hope we are rope-a-doping them but unfortunately, this just looks a lot like how we've been playing for much of the tournament.

Can you imagine clubs like Chelsea, RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, Roma, or Barnsley releasing our guys for the 3-4 weeks or more it would take to be in this tournament, all while important club matches are taking place?
It is what it is. Our player pool at this age range is in maybe the best shape it’s ever been, but that means most of the good ones are playing important minutes at big clubs. So it leaves us going way down the pecking order to assemble a roster for a tournament like this.
