I was really impressed with Reese against DePaul, in all phases of his game. Hopefully a sign of where he’s headed, because he will be needed if this team is to push for the tournament.

Agreed, but I liked what I saw from Miller last night. With Reed down, that might allow Miller more mins in a rotation with Nwoko, get into a good rhythm.
Yes, but to be fair, it’s as no win a situation as you can be in. Kiffin holds the cards.

Yep. If Sumrall overcomes the toxic negativity that will pervade his tenure, then he’s way better than we all thought.

As much as this stings OM for losing their coach, deep down they understand it. The real loser and identity crisis here is UF, a supposed blue blood. Went head to head with LSU for all the CFB world to see, and it did not go well.

He doesn’t deserve a bunch of mulligans for his disappointments thus far. That said, this team looks dangerous, and has potential to significantly outperform preseason predictions. So let’s see what he does with it. Prove your value.

Entirely possible LK has had it in for LSU since we passed on him and hired Kelly, and this is way to get payback. Not likely given the supposed hurt feelings he’s caused at OM, but possible.
Isn’t there talk that UT folks are getting impatient with Huepel? Not saying that’s right or wrong, but if true then all this smoke around him could easily be his agent trying to 1) make UT feel like Huepel’s in demand and/or 2) find a landing spot for him if needed.
Seems soooo far fetched that Saban would get involved with this circus. But I believe you nonetheless.
Brent Key would be a fantastic hire. Period. No downside, IMO. I think you’d want to get a sense for how he would use the rich skill talent in LA during interviews, but he’ll have a comprehensive plan. Can you get him to leave GT is the question.

A&M decided to stop making mistakes and focus on what was working. LSU? Quite the opposite.
I’m both jealous and outraged at the same time. Jealous of the 400 in 4 years, not the 95 avg.
They should shut the sound system off for games against SEC and/or ranked opponents, let the crowd carry those games. Turn it on when there’s otherwise a lack of energy.
I saw several instances where Perkins was in fact spying, but Ole Miss had a great plan on the designed QB runs where one OL would peel off and block him.
Is he even getting on the field at Ole Miss?
A high level punter combined with a salty defense can definitely tilt the field in your favor..
I understand the frustration. However, we’re already talking about being too predictable. Using Berry more will make us more predictable as the schedule gets tougher. The few times Berry tried to pass pro have been borderline disastrous. He almost got Nuss killed a couple times against UF during his short playing time. When you put a player with such an extreme deficiency on the field, SEC defenses know how to exploit it.
I could swear it was Ole Miss doing the punting on 3rd down? But your point stands, teams that good defensively have to manage the risk they take on offense.
I want to say this article was initially posted prior to the games, then updated with the results. I could be wrong but I know it was posted a little while ago.

Not defending the content at all.
You would think double teams would easily defeat a guy this size. Not so.
