Like the XI, I think that gives us the best chance we got

How nervous is everyone else. I’m a solid 6.5/10

Too drunk to be nervous

I’m guesstimating we have a 75-80% chance of winning this game but honestly not confident either way. Hoping for the best.

How good is this Honduras team? Guess I didn’t realize they have done so well in Olympic qualifying when their full men’s team really hasn’t been that strong in WCQ

Any rationale on why we didn’t pull some of the youngsters that won against N Ireland today for this game instead?
Posted on 3/28/21 at 5:06 pm to PubeCrab
Because this isn't the senior team and clubs weren't required to release players for Olympic qualifying.

Is this Honduras team decent? Like do they have anyone starting in MLS or any other comparable league?

Honduras qualified for the World Cup in 2010, 2014 and made the intercontinental playoff ahead of us in 2018.

So clubs are more strict when it’s not the senior team or was it simply an easier ask with them playing the past two games in Europe vs Mexico?
We certainly need our best squad on the senior team to play as much as possible together leading into WC qualifiers. Hopefully the youngsters get it done, I just hate the thought of us missing out on the Olympics again.

FIFA only requires clubs to release players for full national team games, nothing else.

We've looked like arse for every minute of this tournament outside of the final 30 minutes against Dominican Republic

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying.
