Feel like we are 2 CB and a GK from being a legit quarterfinal level team

Maybe I’m biased or dumb. But this US team seems better prepared and quicker than previous team, exception of an Arena coached team.

In the World Cup that player dives and that’s a pen.

Can’t do dumb shite like that

Nowhere near a red, but stopping a transition by taking a player out is almost always a yellow (or should be)

I figured the yellow part for sure, but it was the step on the foot from behind that had me grey in my understandings. Thanks!

Let’s get back to soccer.

Should have done that when they designed the kits.

Should never be any color other than red, white, and blue.

8 first half corners is pretty impressive. Haven’t seen us attack like this against a non-CONCACAF minnow in forever. Actually feeling good about this team.

We just played Germany off the field that half. Let’s fricking go. Not much more you need to see.

Make 11 subs and let’s get to Paraguay

Have to like how we responded after an early goal and shaky first 15 or so minutes.

I agree. They really locked in and had a great half.

Funny thing is the numbers look white from 15’ away. I bet most of the people in the stadium don’t even know they’re rainbows!

Well color me impressed overall with those 45 minutes and how we look against Germany. Might be giving me a bit of optimism heading into this world cup...

It’s nice to see us not playing with the mindset of a scrappy underdog but rather with the mindset that we want to win by multiple goals.

They aren't built to win by defending so at least they are showing real bite attacking.

The last 25 minutes of that half we looked the better team almost. I know Germany isn’t the best squad in the tourney, but they are potential Round of 16 material still imo.

If we can take another half step, I like our chances to get to that level and maybe beyond.

REALLY need Richards to be healthy for that, though… And I think he may be the only change to the XI for the match against Paraguay.

Also, really want to see us with the same XI after the break. Try to force Germany to mass-sub first, and use that as a verbal confidence builder in the locker room after this match.

We FINALLY closed out a half on the front foot. Give the starters a chance to keep the momentum and put Germany away. If things haven’t budged by the 65th minute, start with our mass-subs.

Want to see Pepi bossing Schlotterback and Weah running against Brown. And Gio orchestrating.

I think we’ll see a host of changes about 20 min into the half.

Ball really dies out quick on this pitch.
