Pulisic propaganda machine fights back. If true, I think it's more damning how absolutely fragile the guy is. He's like Greg Oden.

The good news is now he has time to rest

I didnt understand all the complaining about him coming out of the game. He clearly wasnt right after he kicked the belgium player at the top of the box

That's crazy he smashed his shin with a hammer after hearing the backlash yesterday.

His injuries will become more frequent and take longer to recover. It’s the dilemma of most professional athletes that their careers are often short. The wear on their bodies is heavy from a young age. It’s complicated by the fact he is already injury prone.

quote:Agreed. I know he’s often injured, but it was rather hilarious to watch the backlash from the women’s players about how you can only rest when you retire considering he plays three times amount of games per season when compared to the majority of US women’s players.

The criticism isn’t just that he came out of the game during a pivotal period but that he was MIA for nearly the entire WC. He cannot stay healthy and he is largely a non factor on the field. That is the criticism and a very valid one. When he had the ball against a defense with a pulse, he couldn’t create space and almost always deferred to another player creating essentially no scoring opportunities for himself. That wouldn’t be an issue if he had several meaningful assists, he didn’t. That can’t be the legacy of your supposed best player

I think the criticism of his play was more than justified.
Don’t think he deserved the piling on he got not did he deserve the former players trashing him.
The former women’s players make it really hard to pull for their team sometimes. Many of them seem bitter about everything.

This seems so contrived. Bone bruise is bullshite and i guarantee 1/4 of the population is walking around with some sort of micro fracture.
Dude is soft and looking for an excuse to.

Bone bruises are super painful. But for some reason everyone wants Pulisic to be Billy badass and stay on the field at 30% capacity rather than sub in a non injured player.

Unfortunately a problem for lots of athletes

He will probably be our all time leading goal scorer when his career is over. But yeah the past 7 months have been rough for him.

Him coming off because his lack of production and contribution, injury or not needed to happen. Not ideal for the face of the team in its worst exit in a World Cup, but he wasn’t bringing them back regardless.
