Having no connection to either team, how did you choose? Your favorite color? A specific player at the time?

A few of my friends like Arsenal but there's something about Chelsea that appeals to me a bit more.

I've seen the All or Nothing documentary on Amazon for Arsenal. Does Chelsea have anything comparable other than highlights on youtube?

If it matters Arsenal's owner (Stan Kroenke) is an absolute tool, and Chelsea's is stil coming into his own but is showing spunk.

Depends on which profile you prefer.

Chelsea boys drink their beer with their pinkies out, whilst frou frou dogs yip beside them. And they brag about frolicking in Kensington gardens at midnight.

Gunners take it on the chin, and will more likely complain about it than do something. Plus, they are communist given their colors and "fansharing".

Tell that to the Headhunters.

Chelsea fans are mostly Tories. I.e. we have Jeremy Clarkson.

If you want a reason to NOT be an Arsenal supporter, spend 20 minutes watching Arsenal Fan TV on YouTube.

Why are you limiting yourself to those 2 teams? I've always been told that you don't choose a team, they choose you. Unlike America where you choose what college you go to (and thus root for them), you may want to spend the next few weeks before November 6th, watching both teams and see which you enjoy more. Also, on Amazon Prime you can watching All or Nothing - Arsenal and get a behind the scenes look.

I'm in the same boat as you, don't necessarily have a "team" but I do enjoy watching Leeds because of the USA ties. I'll also tune in and watch a top-tier matchup (think KC Chiefs v TB Bucs).

Good luck, don't feel like you need to choose immediately.

Chip,

Thanks man, I appreciate the advice.

I’ve been looking at Fulham too. I love their location and the old school vibe of their stadium…just no one I know seems to follow them at all.

I’ll check out Leeds too.

As a Tottenham fan, I’d say frick your choices.

As an LSU fan, Arsenal fits the whinging of Tigerdroppings to a tee.

My son and I chose Arsenal about 7 years ago due to history and their style of play which is really amazing to watch when they are in form.

We haven’t been disappointed.

ironically Stamford Bridge is actually in Fulham, not Chelsea

as long as you dont consider Tottenham, you are ok

arsenal were fun to watch back over the last ten years or so with Ozil in his prime, they are super young now and have a nice future

I became a CFC fan with the drogba era, been a weird last five years or so, highest of highs, headscratching lows

if I wasnt a Chelsea fan i would probably be a Liverpool fan, great history there

have a soft spot for leeds, all of the yanks there and it is a great story

Agreed. Let it come naturally. You are in no rush to pick a team.

It’s been entertaining that’s for sure and while we haven’t had the same historical success as normal i would say we are definitely not a mess, relatively speaking. I like Chelsea ok but they’ve never stood out as being special. By comparison though, Chelsea has had 10 full time managers in 10 years, that more than Arsenal had had in 90 years.

But if you’re choosing a club based on recent stability and dominance then Man City is the only option.
