We certainly seem to panic in the last 10-15 min of these one goal games. We forget how to maintain possession, kick it long and straight to the other side.

But three points is three points.

Lost in the mayhem of feeling disappointed in a win in a London Derby is…….

HAPPY ST. TOTTERINGHAM’S Day!!!

Just finishing up a week long trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Bavarian Alps, about an hour and a half train ride or drive south from Munich. They celebrate Mardi Gras here (they call it Fasching).

Conditions were a little icy the first day, but we got dumped on the last few days and there was some decent powder off piste the past two days.

Garmisch Classic doesn’t have any beginner terrain, so I wouldn’t advise this mountain unless you’re advanced or an expert. It’s quite steep and the fricking Germans make so many turns on the damn catwalks that they become filled with moguls. Blows my damn mind. But the Kandahar is the famous run that hosts a lot of World Cup and world championship competitions for the downhill. It’s a blast.

BTW - the Germans have never heard of lining up for the lift. It’s just a clusterfrick of dozens and dozens of people pushing up against those in front, other people’s skis between your legs, trying to skip each other until you finally make it to the chair. It’s not for the faint of heart and certainly not what we’re used to in the states. You’ve got to push and block your way to the front. I don’t remember this type of social behavior in the French or Austrian Alps, but it’s been a few years, so I may just not remember. I’m hitting up Val d’Isere in France next month and can compare social norms.

Definitely take your kids on the metro. They'll love it. And it's easy to get around and much cleaner than any other metro in the country, imo.

- National Zoo
- Natural History Museum
- Air & Space Museum
- Spy Museum

Lots of great places to eat that are kid friendly.

The thing that trips up a lot of young families is the amount of walking. The National Mall doesn't look that big. And then you walk from the Licoln Memorial to the Natural History Museum and your kid has a meltdown because it's nearly a two-mile walk.

Haha! Ain’t that the truth
Throw this into ChatGPT as your prompt
Zubimendi and Odegaard sure did pick a bad day to have their worst games.

Zubi just sucked and Odegaard played like a total pussy, minus two decent passes.

But give United credit for two incredible goals.

This Arsenal team needs someone who can take over a game and do something special.

I do think Tennessee is like this to a large degree.

No offense, but I disagree. Whenever I meet someone who is a Tennessee fan and they find out I went to LSU, they immediately talk trash about rednecks, coonasses, corndogs, etc. I’m not a trash talker, so this comes out of nowhere. No other fanbase seems to be this way. Could just be the Tenn fans in the DC area. Who knows?

I hope he gets denied cause he’s a fricking baller and I don’t want to have play against him again… I mean, if I’m being honest
Fun match.

Cons:
We were outclassed at times in the midfield, mainly because I felt Merino had a piss poor game and couldn’t link up. Mosquera was bodied by their strikers. MLS had a poor first half.

Pros:
Everything else. Saliba was elite. Jesus was on fire. Saka was Saka. Raya made some great saves. Once our subs came on, we shut them down completely. Gyokeres with his best play of the season.

Guys - we just beat a European giant 3-1 in the fricking San Siro while starting a rotated side and didn’t even play our best game.

The low block we face every week in the premier league has me frustrated. We need to figure it the frick out. But teams play different in the champions league and we foooking dominate!!! I’m pumped baby!
Still can’t believe these two things happened together:
1. Draw to Forest
2. Extend our lead

I’m frustrated in so many missed chances over and over and over again. Can somebody fricking make a play and hit the back of the net? And yet… we’re top of the premier league table, champions league table, and still going strong in the FA and League cups.

I’m impatient. And I want a fricking trophy! It’s been too long

LSU couldn’t run the ball against Western Kentucky. You think we would run through the steel curtain or the purple people eaters?
Undergrad from LSU and master's from Florida State.

The Last Kingdom. And if you're really interested, engross yourself in Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Tales book series, which starts off the with the book The Last Kingdom.

Rasika is a great rec.

DC has become a real foodie town now. There are incredible restaurants everywhere.

If you can snag reservations at Moon Rabbit, give it a try. Viatnamese chef from New Orleans. It's legit.
