I’d like to see the stats on hincapie’s passes. I might be over critical, but it seems like it’s less than 50%, or at least it was this past game. I like his physicality, but I have no confidence in his ability to play and pass out of the back to break the press. And I still blame his fricking seizure that caused him to lose the ball out of bounds against Villa, leading to the loss. He pisses me off, and it feels irrational
Landry is the village idiot. He’s not even an LSU guy. He should have spun it to praise Tulane and make a classy statement. But he’s a moron

As a kid growing up in BR in the 80s, I thought this was the apex of fine dining.

We were there three years ago.
Congrats! Sucks for us. We really wanted this guy. Had to assume with us not retaining Brad Davis (a positive move overall for us) that we might lose a O-line recruit since Davis is a great recruiter.
This whole thing is so fricking cringe. Just give me the fricking draw
Henry wondering why he has to sit next to Lalas

I'm not expecting them to speak English but can't we get some damn subtitles. I don't remember much from my Spanish college classes

Not that it would help anyway considering he was speaking Portuguese, lol

Pretty impressive to get a peace prize while his admin may get accused of war crimes

you're trying way too hard.
I fully agree. I can’t believe we’re seeing a coach leave his 11-1 team prior to the playoffs where he has a chance to win the national title.

Something is messed up with this structure
Is it too much to ask to have our attackers and defenders play together for ONE frickING GAME?!?!?!
I was a college senior in 2003. I remember the OU fans being the most arrogant fanbase I had ever come across.

I remember partying after the game, but I don't remember much interaction with OU fans. However, I'm sure we had a pretty decent contigent who didn't know how to act after a win like that. Most of the stories have been 'enhanced' since 2003, but I'm sure after games at Kansas State and Iowa State, running into thousands of LSU fans chanting "Tiger Bait!" the whole weekend was probably pretty jarring.

The LSU and OU fans had a blast together in 2019 in Atlanta, though.
They let you hang back and have a few beers in the concourse after the game, which helps to wait out the crowd. The pubs are rocking after a win, and it’s better to hang out in a pub or restaurant vs fighting the crowd in the tube.
I just got back after spending five days in an Airbnb in the old Highbury stands. If you ever get a chance to do that, I highly recommend it. We took many a night time stroll around the old pitch (a lot of foxes there at night) and just soaked in the history.

It also allowed us to immerse ourselves in the neighborhood. The coffee shops, markets, pubs, restaurants, etc. We had a lot of great conversations with locals.

I got back to the states last night. I’m in the office today. But my mind is still back there, still soaking in the glee from the win, still feeling the electricity of the Emirates as they dropped the tifo right in front of us, still visualizing Eze drop to his knees in front of us to celebrate his hat trick, still wishing I were there.

And now it’s time to find another game and begin to formulate the reasons to share with Mrs. Uhtred as to why it’s imperative I go back for another game in this season
