The Mount signing makes no sense with what we need out there. Ten Hag better be careful. We’re still garbage away from home and this teams identity is still unknown. Moment FC

Crushing defeat. The Casemiro , Mount , Bruno midfield doesn’t look like it will work.

I think ten hag is starting to show signs of mourinho, ole, and van gaal towards the end. Knows he is fricked and is just accepting his fate. At any other big club like Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona players like Maguire, Williams, Mctominay, Van De Beek would be moved on but this club gives so much power to players and is in so much debt it can’t move forward.

We needed a striker and signed a 60 million dollar CAM and a developmental striker. This isn’t Bournemouth it’s the 3rd largest club in the world.

Just like Rangnick told us...this club needs open heart surgery and that doesn't just mean the first team squad. Nothing will change under the stewardship of the Glazers.

They were never running away with the league.

I saw positive signs today, just unfortunate finishing that took the piss out of the team. Big failure but they made fantastic chances.

Top 6 side, top 4 if houjlund pans out.

Ragnick is a low level coaching talent and ultimately just a dogmatic idealist. Consultant hire who explained away his scoreboard failures with subjective analysis.

The kind of person that real professionals tell to get lost.

I did enjoy his stint he definitely picked at some scabs. And loved Anthony Elanga who went for peanuts to somebody.

Look do I think we’ll finish bottom half? No. But MU shouldn’t have aspirations of finishing top 6. There have been no obvious signs of improvement from last year and you could make the argument that the style of play is worse. Hojlund is still a kid and a developmental talent, counting on him is unfair and unrealistic.

Dude, they missed sitting headers and looked the better team for most of the game until the early stages of the second half. Antony looks totally toothless and he slows down most attacks. Sancho needs to be in there over Antony.

For the first half yes we were playing decent, but there are glaring weaknesses in this teams wingers, forwards, and midfield. Also ETH having AWB/Shaw playing as inverted fullbacks into the midfield was odd.

Not to mention we were just overall slower and less fit as well. It’s no bueno.

While I agree that Rangnick is not a great manager, he knows how to build a team and a staff and has been extremely successful in the director of football role. He was absolutely right about United and we actually should have kept him on as a consultant as we originally planned to do instead of telling him to get lost.

Mount is obviously going to take some time to figure out what he needs to be as a player to be effective in ten Hag's system if he plays alongside Bruno.

Antony seems like a waste of money at this point and it pains me to say that but I believe ten Hag is going to continue to select him so I hope he improves. Rashford has to start playing on the left. He needs to be taking defenders on in the channel where he is actually effective. Let Martial play in the middle until he gets hurt and then Sancho can come in.

Club issued a statement this morning stating Mason Greenwood will leave the club after their internal investigation determined he did not commit the offenses he was accused of. He and club agree it is in his best interests to go elsewhere to resume his playing career.

I agree. Best for all parties.

But man, a healthy Greenwood over Antony would have been nice.

Sancho over Garnacho going forward as well.

I doubt that he will ever play in England again.

Would not want to if I were him, the people who have been dead wrong in their assessments will never go quietly and he’ll be harassed mercilessly at every stop. There are a lot of them.
