I'm with you. You don't let a 100m+ asset walk to another PL club, which is exactly what's going to happen if we "let him go." I would love to loan him out and let the heat subside, then make a decision on a sale when you can actually get somewhere near what he is worth...just my opinion.
It's going to hurt a lot of feelings and it's a very shitty situation all around but if he is going to play PL football, it needs to be for United.

Old Trafford needs to be a sea of green and yellow going forward until the Glazers sell. Disgusting is not a strong enough word to describe how they have handled the club and let it regress to this point. Thank God for Sir Alex or we would be pushing 20 years of purgatory instead of just 10.

the whole thing is crazy, almost too stupid to be real.
aside from them being together with child and plans to wed - the english courts did not act, the club have done a beyond thorough internal investigation and have proceeded in favor of reinstatement even at the risk of amazing amounts of manufactured outrage. all outcomes so far point to things not being quite as they seem in a lot of people's brains.
truth is nobody knows shite but the people who have actually seen all of the information. i trust the club to do the right thing.
