I am living the complete opposite to this thread. I am the divorced dad, full custody of kids, who is now going on 8 years with my girlfriend whom I met when she was in her 30s and had never been married.

My gf, was/is very career oriented and is killing it on that front and is the best partner I could have ever asked for. Guess I'm just the outlier in your opinion :lol:

I'm with you Rummy. Property taxes due to all this growth has made ATX unsustainable. We have a rental property close to St. Elmo that when we retire and the kids are out of the house in a few years, we plan on spending winters here and Spring/Summer in Maine.

I’m know a guy who was getting a divorce and not only was he paying for his own attorney, but he was paying for her separate attorney as well.

Go figure that one out.
