How do U.S. soccer fans feel about Alexi?

I’ve always found him obnoxious but did appreciate his passion for USMNT. If anyone’s been following the coverage throughout the cup its apparent Zlatan and him get under each others skin. Henry and him have more or less been bullying him

Also Zlatans narcassism is already a worn out shtick

Lalas has passion for the usmnt. I don’t mind his commentary. The zlatan rivalry is manufactured BS for views.

He is what he is. Not good at soccer, was an odd person to look at, but has remained committed to US Soccer (because they pay him).

On any stage with international players he will always be the worst.

I like his commentary too. he can be over the top but tells it like it is and will get you pumped up for US in any competition

I think it's funny that now he appears so distinguished-looking now, but back in 1994, my late friend Randy used to say, "Hey, I like that dude on the team who looks like the lead singer from The Spin Doctors."

It's all an act for the cameras.

He has been a bully in the media for years. Finally getting a taste of his own medicine.

I think that's what it sort of is with most of these tv people. Except for Big meeks. People put on a persona for the camera.

He's more insightful than zlatan which is not saying much. Zlatan is like Kendrick Perkins level bad

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that. I’m sure he’d be much better in his native language, but I always feel like I’m having to pull everything out of him when he speaks English.

I don’t get the hate some people have for him. He has his perspective and not everyone agrees. But he’s no idiot like some would have you believe.

I don’t like him for talking shite about Pulisic. I’m sure people will defend him, but I think it’s over the top.

Same. I love his passion for US Soccer, not expecting him to give me deep insights on strategy and that's okay.

This

We need more talking heads commentating on soccer. He occasionally has some stupid hot takes but I agree more or less with a lot of what he says. I get why people wouldn’t like him but imo he’s a net positive for bringing attention to the sport here. Plus he’s got name recognition from ‘94.

Zlatan is the absolute worst. He barely speaks English. Get him off the set.
