PGMOL is actually corrupt. Michael Oliver has to be the worst big game ref I have ever seen in my life.

We got totally screwed today. Brutal stuff. However. 1 win and 2 draws in our hardest week of the year. Love that.

Kick a ball away split second after the whistle... second yellow.

Michael Oliver also refs in Saudi Arabia during the Premiere League season. As well as a handful of other Premiere League refs

Arsenal are the kings of wasting time though. Taking naps all over the pitch in the second half.

Both managers got Red Cards at end of the match btw.

What could Pep and City have to complain about?

Great show of resilience. I got pissed and turned it off after the red then figured I’d bring them luck by keeping it off—“see what you missed?”

Great job Gunners coming out with the point playing the second half a man down. Now it’s Shitty celebrating the draw.

Yeah City celebrating that draw is fricking insane for a team with their mentality and a team that has won it 6 of 7 times.

I guess when the ref and illegal oil money is on your side you can do whatever you want

Didn’t get to watch, looked at the stats - are we the most carded team so far? Sure feels like it.

Saw another comment on twitter that the ball was in play for 35’ in the second half (most of any half this season) and still 9+ min of extra time

I would love to see an actual calculation of how much stoppage time should have been added.

- Injuries
- time to record cards
- goals

What else goes against stoppage time? how could it have added to 7 minutes?

OH NO! We here at the Arsenal season long thread wish Rodri (a known piece of shite on the field, frick him, and I mean that genuinely. frick that piece of trash) a speedy recovery! Such a shame man! Poor City is just gonna have to make it without their best player! Hoping a more credible source confirms.

I wonder, at the end of the season, how many instances of a player “delaying” restart for kicking a ball after the whistle will be carded, and how many (other than the 2 we’ve already had) will receive a 2nd yellow for such an infraction.

I’d guess the answer to the first will be less than 10 and the answer to the 2nd will be 0

Sky Sports timed the lag between Michael Oliver’s whistle and Leandro Trossard kicking the ball at 0.84 seconds. That’s how long he had to react and not kick the ball to avoid “delaying the restart” and getting a yellow. Absurd.

Shameful

It's Van Persie at Barca all over again. I'm pretty sure that that was proven to be corrupt as well. Pep loves being associated with this sort of shite

Looks like we may have to start a 16 yr old keeper for the Cup tonight. Raya has a knock, Neto is cup tied. The 2 youth keepers we brought it Setford and Nygaard are both injured so we are down to our 5/6th option tonight

Eta: confirmed 16 yr old Jack Porter expected to start in goal

What is the rationale to start Saka and Rice in this match?
