16 year old goalie today, youngest ever starter for Arsenal and second youngest debutant ever after Nwaneri.

What is the rationale to start Saka and Rice in this match?

Should have sent them to Spain for a two day break.

Really don’t have many options. Saka only played 45 minutes Sunday. I think we have 8 first team players out injured.

Nope. Rice with 61 & Saka 70+ all while having a sizeable lead

I wouldn't worry about. Just like baseball when a starter throws a full session on day 2 or 3 after a start and before the next one.

This was a training session. Saka is fine. Rice is too.

I know I’ve said it here a few times but Ethan Nwaneri is a baller. He’s good enough to start every game for Odegaard while he’s out.

Considering the next 2 are Leicester and Southampton, I agree with you. Should be enough til the international break. Maybe a small cameo against PSG. Hell maybe even a start.

We don't need Odegaard back until Liverpool

5 of the next 7 games are at home. All 7 are winnable. Could be looking very nice at the end of October if things go our way. Hopefully Odeegard and Merino are fit and ready for that Liverpool game on Oct 27th or the away Newcastle game on Nov 2nd.

vs Leicester
vs PSG (UCL)
vs Southhampton
at Bournemouth
vs Shaktar (UCL)
vs Liverpool
at Preston (Caraboa Cup 4th Round)

Feel like both of these are a stretch... But would be amazing to have them fit for poo

Evidently Merino is back in training already… he won’t play this weekend but could be back in the next 2 weeks

Raya is evidently out tomorrow. Neto will make his debut

I feel irrationally nervous with Raya out. Feels like half the starting 11 are injured right now.
