Kamala Harris is just toxic. that's why her campaign was such a disaster

does she have any accomplishments that she hasn't had to fix in some way? even her race has had to be cleaned up a bit due to her black family's history

People know that it'll mean a black woman prez if he wins because there's no way he survives the term.

Jill and Hunter were also polled, and responded ‘somewhat enthusiastic’

Trump will get no more than 8% of the black vote. Because even some blacks that like him will still vote straight Democrat.

Lol. That's what he got in 2016. Trump has way more support from black folks now then he did then. Trump gets 15% or more in November. And Biden gets little support from black people so you'll see black voter turnout decline like it did for Hillary. And Yeezy pulls votes away from Sleepy Joe also.

The biggest problem with every one of them in the list, IMHO, is that they either represent a non-swing state or aren’t capable of swinging their state, limiting upside.

The gap toothed idiot came close in an off year election but won’t help in a presidential one. And Bottoms probably actively costs you votes in Georgia right now.

Supporting over the phone and Turning our to vote are 2 different things.

We’ll have to see how motivated that 14% is. If he hits even close to 10% at the polls, it’s over.

muh voter id laws caused black people to not vote for Biden.

I mean even the poorest and oldest people have basic ID's. you can't do anything w/o one.

If black males don't get out and vote for Biden, are they going to get out and vote for Trump? Or are they just not going to vote at all and will that be enough to help Trump?

Name a VP choice floated by Joe which brings more positives than negatives.

The names coming to mind are Kamala, Warren, Duckworth, Stacy Abrams, Keisha Bottoms, and Cuomo.

Most of those bring little positive to the ticket and huge negatives in their own ways.

Do any of those help in any swing states? Duckworth is from IL, we are Electoral College Blue due to Chicago and St Louis (~97% of counties are Red). So Duckworth's IL roots doesn't help swing IL, any others? But of course, they could help swing other states for reasons other than home court advantage.

I fully expect the VP pick to be completely off the wall. All of these women have been exhaustively poll tested, and none have passed muster. How do we know that? Biden needs an enthusiasm boost, and a partner to campaign vigorously. They just don't have a Candidate.

I noted that above. The only potential help is in Georgia and it won’t be enough.

It is a symptom of how regional the Dems have become that they have absolutely no politicians with crossover appeal in a swing state.

Black people don't really do the opposition vote thing. If they don't like either choice they'll sit out the election. That's what happened in 2016, Hillary was never going to get Obama numbers and enough black voters said "frick this, I'm not voting for Hillary" that black voter turnout declined for the first time in thirty or forty years. Biden doesn't even have Hillary level support from black voters. They can blame whatever they want, the democrats suppressed it themselves.

Clinton lost WI largely due to Milwaukee County not turning out.

ie-The black vote.

I didn't say anything of the sort. Blacks vote for black democrats in almost lockstep numbers. Any black democrat VP choice will get Biden to 92%ish of the blackvote.

Kamala would be the least effective of the rumored choices for a lot of reasons.
