I think WWII is a good example of the ends justifying the means. The Mexican cartels are the Hitlers of that country. We don't need them to spread their wings elsewhere.

I agree with that with the addition of shutting off commerce between Mexico and the US. So many trucks coming over the border carry drugs, smuggle people and carry other not allowed commodities.
