There are no red states. There are some center left states who will vote for a center right Republican over a far left Democrat. This is sadly where thr zeitgeist is at the moment.

I seriously think there is this 10% subset of usually Republican voters who vote for any Democrat they are told is “moderate” because it makes them feel they are “independent voters.” Same thing happened in Louisiana with JBE last cycle. In reality, these voters are just retarded but swing elections.

Yes, Trump endorsed Cameron and so did McConnell. I guess some Republicans in Kentucky just won’t vote for a black guy.

Bingo. There are a lot of cocktail party republicans who are ashamed and embarrassed by the Republican base voters.

The fricking teachers… Beshear has them wrapped around his stinky pinky

McConnell was able to stave off a nationally funded Dem challenger in his re-election.

Coal people are stupid I think. West Virginia has the same problem. They keep electing Manchin.

Its the same kind of people who pretend to get into really obscure music and imdy films. They want themselves to seem "above the fray". They will brag at parties how they don't just vote down ballot, but they look at each politician on their own. But in reality, they will vote for any Democrat who seems somewhat normal and not a complete moonbat like Rashida Talib or something.

We need 4 political parties in this county.

Communists
Socialists
Republicans
MAGA

The modern mainstream right isn’t even that conservative anymore. If anything, todays mainstream conservatism has more in common with classical liberalism than it does the right.

Republicans won the AG and Sec of State races handily. Yet somehow the Governors race had a lot more votes cast than those two races on the same ballot and the Dem won. I believe we saw the same phenomena for Biden but down ballot red wins.

Abortion is a big reason White women are voting Blue instead of Red which they mostly agree with. It is happening all over big time. They will watch the entire world crumble around them as long as they have the right to kill their child in the womb.

How f'd up is the country? It's telling that even with four political parties imagined, none are conservative.

That framing is pretty telling.

There’s only been 2 republican governors in the state of Kentucky the last 50 years. Governor is usually a center Dem. Everything else is usually very Red
