I know I'm on page 8 and no one will read this but I'll bite. Why in the frick would we do that? We own the air, games over. Why would we want to kill innocent people

And I don't see where the same goals couldn't be accomplished with conventional weapons....especially since it's been claimed to have already done the job.
Not to mention the entire act of normalizing nuclear weapons to be used in other conflicts.
It's just a bad idea and would at best just be terrorizing the populations to try and bend their political will.
This, this, and this.

Absolutely not. No nukes. Ever.

No.
We can keep them from getting nukes other ways.
Nuking Iran would usher in a huge jihad on the US. The rest of the ME that we have relationship with would turn on us.

Why? They are on life support and are only holding out until the midterms hoping that their allies in the Dem party will save them. Fortunately, there is no saving them

I'd hope to avoid it if at all possible.

As things stand now? No, not even close. Could Iran do something here domestically that would result in me being 100% in favor of it? Absolutely.

Of course not.
Regardless, as the mushroom cloud dissipated, Trump would call it “fake news” , and Hegseth would tout the steely resolve and high testosterone of the warriors who launched the strike…

Why do people all of a sudden think we are going to nuke Iran?
Posted on 11/3/26 at 8:52 am to Tampa Ray
No, not unless we were responding to a nuclear attack on us. I think using a nuke as part of the ongoing conflict will be incredibly destabilizing to the whole world.

Not no but, Hell NO!
Trump is on record, prior to starting the war, that we are protected by two beautiful oceans.
Japan proved that Nuclear weapons are operational. No need to test them again unless we are being attacked.
I gave seven years of my life in the Submarine Service, in order to prevent the Soviet Union from attacking us.
The only attack on us, during that period of history, was Israel attacking the USS Liberty. We din't use Nukes then, and didn't even defend our Sailors.
Hell, our "Leaders" won't even admit it happened.

Well I’m not lying about my experience, my MOS was 81T, I think it’s now 21U, I’m still a Geospatial Analysts/Cartographer. I’m not advocating for an air blast nuke but a nuke that penetrates and then detonates which is what is required to destroy underground facilities.
