This is not supposed to be a roast, however the tradition most recently does seem to be to take jabs at the press and politicians. She was over the line with the shaming of Sanders. Oh, BTW, the whole purpose of the event is to fund journalism scholarships.

I love how yesterday I was told by our dems here that everyone was outraged and there was only a small section on twitter of people who didn’t mind the jokes...yet all the dems here and in the media are accepting or flat out praising the jokes.

The jokes at trump, while classless and dumb, I can handle because he does bring some on himself.
Sarah Sanders has done nothing to deserve being attacked the way she was. The attacks weren’t like “haha everyone knows Sarah loves to shop” it was “Sarah is a racist and white people hate her” - a real knee slapper.
