What were the offending jokes?

First off how did this bitch get the opportunity to host the WHCD? Was Gallagher too busy? How many people had to have refused it before someone asked her?

And secondly, I'd like to apologize to Samantha Bee for calling her the least funny person on the planet. This count is. And her comments on abortion were pretty fricking disgusting on top of all that.

Talking points have gone out. Whatever the morning show on CNN is... Alisyn Camerota and Gov. Cuomo's brother... they were carrying water for the comedian this morning... Joe Brzezinski was as well, if memory serves me correctly.

The attacks weren’t like “haha everyone knows Sarah loves to shop” it was “Sarah is a racist and white people hate her” - a real knee slapper.

Wolf didn't say anything close to either of these things.

Which joke specifically has you so bent out of shape?

That's the thing... she simply wasn't even remotely funny.

Sarah has some serious thick skin.

She can handle it.

I watched it and thought she was decent. I legit laughed out loud a few times. The only thing that offended me was her god awful voice.

I think she crossed the line, but that’s what comics are supposed to do.

The last thing we need is MORE speech restrictions. Why can’t we just have the jokes, then the backlash to the jokes, then move on.

Don't. That event turned her into a sympathetic heroine nationwide. Her job just got easier with the press corps.

No one is advocating more speech restrictions that I can see. However, I do see this morning a lot of talk about people saying that the free speech you speak of should contain just a tad touch of decency to it.

All of them.

Isn't this the dinner Barry made a fool of himself which triggered Trump to run for prez, win and save the world?

Not at a scholarship dinner. They're supposed to walk a tightrope.

It's not really comedy when you know for a fact the person doing the mocking hates the other group with a passion.

This. These things used to be light hearted and just poking fun. Now they are just a platform for vitriol and nastiness that serves no positive effect on our overall political environment, quite the opposite really.

This happens with every story except the Russian collusion narrative, stormy, and any other story that the left can exploit for political points.

All I hear is people complaining and not what they are complaining about.

What were the top 3 over-the-line jokes made at SHS’s expense?

I actually thought her most inappropriate jokes were not about Sanders. It seemed like a typical R-rated crude stand up show. Called the President a racist, called the President a pussy, made light of getting an abortion, made fun of the way people look, etc. It's not for everyone and I think we should probably question whether it is for something like the White House Correspondence dinner. I think it came across rougher than usual not only because of the material but because you know these jokes came from some deep seated hate and not from a more good-natured ribbing typical of a roasts.

So no over-the-line jokes made at SHS’s expense then.
