Why is Texas allowing Islamists to slowly take over the state?

I have a friend in Austin(I know his own fault for choosing Austin), he told me that mosques are popping up everywhere there and he is seeing them all over in public in the past couple years.

Texas is a sell out for money. It’s not new.

I’ve been assured by SCLib and sizzle that this isn’t happening and never will. All the Muslims in Texas, NY, Mass, Mich and Minn are peaceful and want to assimilate totally.

I literally have to move from my nice suburban town in DFW metroplex due to mosque getting built so near my house.

It’s crazy that it is happening at this rate!

Who is really responsible? Are loopholes being exploited by Muslims and Indians? Or is this a feature, not a bug, of some intentional system? If so, who is controlling this system?

Name the law we could use to stop it.

I'll wait.

Muslims are taking advantage of our lax immigration policies/enforcement and the 1st amendment. Both of those things ought to change to exclude those from such a dangerous religion and ideology.

This is the one good thing about LA being so undesirable. There’s less than 30 mosques in the whole state.

Why didn’t they run all of the Mexicans out after kicking Santana’s arse in the Mexican-American War?

How many would this be? I think there is one new mosque in Austin proper over the last 10 years. A couple more in suburbs, which makes sense considering how much Austin has grown in the last 15+ years.

Because freedom of religion means we have to give comfort to people who want to kill us and take away our freedom. It would be unconstitutional to protect ourselves from an evil ideology.

I mentioned this to a buddy recently. As shitty as Louisiana and north Baton Rouge is, I haven’t noticed an unbearable amount of radical immigration nonsense like we are seeing pop up in random places across the country. Sure, we have plenty of dindu nuttins, but I don’t see the Muslim crap which could arguably be worse.

Edit: We do have a lot of illegals from Mexico, but I dont mind that. They just work all day, go home to the coronas, and start over the next day. Generally nice people who also like to be left alone like myself.

There's more to the story than this. Mexicans can work for lower wages than American citizens because they don't pay insurance and taxes and they live off gov't subsidies. We pay for their health care, education, housing, and groceries. The money they earn can then be sent back to their families in Mexico as remittances. It's a good life.

Because there so many millions of Mexicans here, they have no need to assimilate. They have their own enclaves that are basically self-contained. No English needed.

I'm painting with a broad brush but not too broad.

There’s more to it than that, I work with them almost daily. I’ve been roofing 37 years. Started out as a laborer. The Mexican crews charge the same or more than white/black mixed crews. At least they did, now there are literally no white crews left to be found. And if you do find one, they are all methheads that do crappy work. Our young people are not getting into construction like I did when I was 18. The cellphone/ video game generation isn’t about all that sweating.

I write my Checks to Mexican subcontractors that have LLC’s, insurance and pay taxes on the 1099’s l send out.
The guys I write the checks to may very well pay their men in cash, but they aren’t cheap either. A brand new starting out laborer gets $150 a day, nailers get $200-$250 a day and then a foreman usually gets $300 a day.
The ones I have spoken to usually do send money home to their families. Because their wives and children still live in Mexico or South America.
I’m all for deporting the gang members and criminals and I firmly agree that illegals shouldn’t get benefits.
Realisticlly though, they are now 20% of our population. We can huff and puff all we want, there’s no way to deport that many people.

You can start with banning Sharia law. Then work off that to shut down places that attempt it.

Something has to be done. The job of government is to protect Americans first and foremost.

They’re failing by letting this continue.
