re: Texas BBQ is getting a Halal Makeover

Halal food is American food
If you don’t see this as absurd nonsense, then you have no sense.
Of course halal food exists in the USA, no one is saying that is even a problem or the problem. It’s the blatant propaganda that is shoved in our faces every minute of every day. The propaganda trying to get Americans to accept the mass migration of non-western culture is somehow good for America and western culture as a whole.

I literally have to move from my nice suburban town in DFW metroplex due to mosque getting built so near my house.
It’s crazy that it is happening at this rate!
Who is really responsible? Are loopholes being exploited by Muslims and Indians? Or is this a feature, not a bug, of some intentional system? If so, who is controlling this system?

LOL for anyone thinking DNC will allow for a fair primary! When was the last time they honored a fair primary?
They will internally select a candidate and prop them up just like they have done for the last few cycles. They do not give a frick about their voters wishes!

If I understand it correctly, the geographic area does not matter. Rather whether you are a member of the plaintiffs organization.
I am a member of GOA and a customer of Palmetto State Armory, therefore if this holds I should be included REGARDLESS of location.
Hopefully this will be pushed further and eventually apply to ALL US CITIZENS via the SCOTUS.

re: What is your take on the use of Flock Cameras?
Posted by TigerToGeaux on 8/6/26 at 11:35 am to BCvol
I had a crime committed outside of my place of business, I reported it and the LEO came and literally pulled up the flock information right in front of me in an instant.
Could certainly be abused by anyone with access.
Don’t get me wrong, it seemed like a dream for catching bad guys. Is that worth sacrificing privacy and mass data harvesting by the gov?
I mean the NSA is harvesting this very conversation and surveilling all of us every day. Just because doing this allows for stopping some terrorist, does that mean it is a net positive for the United States citizens? I am not so sure.

Invasion of privacy and mass surveillance by government. No other way to view it.
Of course it makes catching bad guys easier, therefore LEO are all for it. Every law abiding citizen shouldn’t suffer mass surveillance as a by-product of catching bad guys.

NFA Being Repealed?!
Posted by TigerToGeaux on 8/6/26 at 7:42 am
It is a good day for the Second Amendment!
On August 5th, a federal judge in Texas has ruled in favor of Palmetto State Armory, Gun Owners of America and allies that the NFA is unconstitutional. A 7 day stay has been placed to give the gov time to respond.
This is HUGE! Keep in mind, the Trump DOJ/AG can literally kill the NFA by electing not to contest the ruling. However, I have little faith the gov is going to give up the NFA so easily, even in a Trump controlled White House.
This was all made possible by congress dropping the NFA tax stamp fee to $0. The NFA has always been upheld in courts, not because it does not violate our rights, but because it was a tax. The courts have always defended congress’ right to tax citizens and therefore the NFA was always (wrongfully IMO) upheld as constitutional. This is a similar argument that made the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) pass the courts.
When congress removed the $200 tax stamp, it effectively removed the only justification the courts ever had to keep it, TAXES.
We need to keep the pressure on Trump to kill the NFA!

Mosque In my Backyard
Posted by TigerToGeaux on 8/5/26 at 5:23 pm
City of McKinney, TX just approved the construction of a Mosque nearly in my backyard.
7-0 in favor was the city council vote.
Guess I will have to listen to call to prayer multiple times per day until I can get my house sold.
What is happening to Texas?!

They bring that bullshite littering behavior here too.
I bought a piece of land, built a nice commercial building in a very nice area, and I pull up one day after construction/before move in date and this jeet is parked out front smoking a cigarette. I asked him if he needed anything and he said “no” and just threw his cigarette on the ground right in front of me and this brand new building. I chewed his arse out and he picked it up and drove off.
Now I have a Indian grocery store being built right next door, there is no escaping them here.
