Upvote for someone who brought something to the table. I appreciate the research.

H.R. 2 (The Secure the Border Act of 2023): Massie was one of two Republicans to vote against the sweeping GOP border and immigration bill. He primarily opposed the legislation because it mandated a national E-Verify system, which he argued unconstitutionally expanded federal power over private employment.

I though he voted for it. Definite mark against him, and the reason for not voting YES is pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

Again, frick them for doing it.

But how many of those NGOs were largely backed by non-US Catholic countries that we frequently fight wars for? How many American soldiers have died fighting in wars for foreign countries that are heavily funding these Catholic NGOs? How much taxpayer money has the US given to these Catholic countries?

If you're really being honest, you would admit that Massie supports open borders as a Libertarian, and has never supported funding for the border wall, ICE, etc.

I stand corrected on most of this. You make a good point.

Because instead of communicating with Trump, he chose to air his dirty laundry out in public. I don't mind if someone disagrees with Trump, but at least give him the courtesy to go speak to him face to face and keep your disagreements private.

This board has Trump's dick so far down their throats that whatever he says is like coming straight out of the mouth of God himself

Think for yourself and go against Trump in any way and the cult will go after you

Letlow literally advanced to the runoff off of sucking off Trump. It really is sad

All Trump had to do was follow his campaign promises. No one voted for soaring inflation, “moving on” from Epstein, 500 Chinese students, or a floundering war in Iran. The people who tried to hold him to account and remind him why he got elected (Boebert, MTG, Massie, Tucker) have essentially been expelled from the party. He is going to destroy the GOP and in doing so, will gift Democrats with major wins in 2026 and 2028.

The problem for Massie is he stopped standing for anything. His whole thing for the last year has just been to go against Trump. In my view that makes him no different than a Democrat.

It's easy to criticize and say Trump is wrong. Massie never once tried to actually propose solutions. Massie no longer cared about making the country better and actually governing. All he cared about was sticking it to Trump whenever he could.

Besides that, him voting against the Covid relief in 2020 when it was the government who essentially closed the economy and put people out of work was the height of being out of touch. I'm not one who wants the government giving everyone money, but in that case it was the government who directly put people out of work, so yes they absolutely should have paid. Many companies who were thriving pre-pandemic didn't make it because of those forced shutdowns.

I personally never respected him after that.

Does this make Trump a Democrat? I mean he used to be one
