Why do Democrats think transgenderism is a winning issue?

The politicians are trying to get away from it. The “they/them” Trump ad from 2024 was statistically one of the most effective campaign ads of all time. But unfortunately for Democrats, some of the loudest backers of “progressive” policies are now transgender influencers and activists. So they know it’s not a winning issue, but all they can do is ignore it and hope for the best.

It's not that they think it's a winning issue. It's part of the minority and they do not want to offend the LGBTQ+ community as a whole.
These are people that want to murder babies up to and sometimes after birth. They have no values and the party has been taken over by liberal females who hate our country and our way of life.

the real campaign began around 2012 w/the restroom campaign in NC. I recall Wilco talking against the tranny ban in concerts,
It took phags decades to get full acceptance by the Dem party, But trannies were fully accepted w/in just a few years. I can't think of another social campaign that was so sucessful so quickly.

Look at who was in office when this really took traction.
Obama was the biggest proponant for trans rights at the time.
And well... Most of us have our reasons for why we think that was.
And the Obama's still have a lot of political flex with the left.

I watched a woman named Evan Barker that was one of their biggest fund raisers and literally quit in the middle of the DNC in '24. She said there's a group in the DNC (I can't remember what she called them) that see it as their job to drive change through multiple ways (I remember one way was changing language and do not care about the approval rates of these things. They see it as their job to just keep pushing. A simpler answer would be the dems don't look to address problems they try to build voter blocks and they're in too deep to back off the trans idea
