Nullification is an American tradition that Jefferson and Madison both recognized and applied. It needs to be renewed. The idea that one federal court of 9 people decides what’s constitutional or not doesn’t make sense. The states wrote and adopted the constitution. The federal government, of which the Supreme Court is a part, is rarely, if ever going to voluntarily limit its own powers or restore lawful authority to the states.

Democracy is a lie and has produced governments that are larger, more powerful and more irresponsible than anything monarchs ever dreamt.
People don’t realize that amid all of the “Social Democrats” popping up on the left, this country is already a social democracy. We spend far more on entitlements and the nanny state than we take in, and it is destroying productivity in the country. People on the left who think we need drastically more of that are living in the land of make believe.
