re: Trump announces intent to declare Strait of Hormuz a US Territory

It can’t be emphasized enough what an embarrassing blunder Iran has been for Trump

Hopefully it’s sooner than later. I’ve seen enough of this shite show

They feel confident they can wait things out until 2029 when there’s a new President

re: Woot! drain the swamp: Trump lashes out at Jeanine Pirro after she drops Reflecting Pool

He needs to quietly drop the whole reflecting pool thing. His ego simply won’t let him admit that the contractor he hired wasn’t very good and they damaged the pool even more. Which is why they made up this silly vandalism case.

Also I don’t understand why Trump gets blamed for warp speed when most on here claim to be all for government deregulation.
Trump was still touting Warp Speed during the 2024 campaign. Even though, as you mentioned, most Trump voters didn’t get vaxed. That’s what I find odd, along with the fact that you think Warp Speed was deregulation when it was the opposite - a literal government and military takeover of production for an entire industry. That’s actually communism.
re: Josh Hawley… Future SCOTUS or POTUS?

Neither. Hawley is a collectivist who thinks the government should cartelize tech companies

re: Ossoff outspending all federal candidates this year. More than AOC and Rashida Tlaib. Why?

Because he’ll likely be the Dem nominee in 2028

That is actually a difficult feat to achieve during an election year. Presidents tend to hover around the 40s for much of recent history.
re: Marco Rubio Taking Off the Gloves on the Left
Posted by RollTide95 on 7/18/26 at 9:24 pm to BoarEd
Marco is a political chameleon who will change his stripes when it’s politically convenient. Ten years ago, he was defending the Iraq War and NAFTA. He has been running for President since he was in the Florida legislature and he’s never held a real job.

re: DE-BANKING Illegals? The Dem/Commie/marxist party will melt.

Would be great if it happened. But like most things Trump 2.0, I’m afraid it’s all talk and no action.

It’s a lot, but not nearly as much as what goes to Israel
re: Pinecone running interference for China

Israel receives more from U.S. foreign aid than any other country. The pro-Israel lobby and its various PACs contribute more to American politicians than any other special interest group. Kennedy wanted AIPAC to register with FARA and we see what happened to him. Israel sabotaged the USS Liberty and the patriots on board; if any other country had done this, there would have been troops on the ground the same day. If you question any of this, you’re called anti-Semitic. As Pat Buchanan said in 1992, Capitol Hill is Israeli-occupied territory. Anyone paying attention would agree.

re: Those who dismiss Trump’s assertions about election security….
Posted by RollTide95 on 7/17/26 at 6:56 pm to Darth_Vader
I didn’t buy the election interference claims when Obama and Hillary made them about Russia. I don’t buy them now that Trump is claiming the same thing with China.
The simple fact is that we’re a gigantic country of 342 million people. 21% of those voters are functionally illiterate. Literally. Probably 50-60% of voters are just not very smart or vote based on emotion. When you consider that, every election to me is fraudulent. Democracy is fraudulent. Because people who have no stake in the economy get to vote themselves free stuff and handouts at the expense of others.

He gave it all up to serve us, the American people, and as a result will have to spend the rest of his life without the freedom we have due to his brave decisions to right the American ship by doing what needed to be done to remove all of those who, for so long, tried to sink America.
Come on, I’m a conservative but this is just reaching. Just in the last two years, he’s made billions from insider trading. The indictments against him were political theater and he knew nothing was going to happen to him; he played it to his advantage.
Speaking of those who are trying to sink America, if the threat of communism is as real as Trump says, and it is, then we’re not taking nearly enough drastic measures to combat it. Instead, the economy is flailing and we’re bogged down in another Middle East crisis with no end in sight. His failures this term are giving the more hardline voices on the left more credibility with angry voters.
