63% of people polled oppose Trump's tariffs, which means it's only possible for 37% to be in favor of them (and the number wouldn't be that high b/c some people will say they are undecided or don't care one way or the other).

38% of people polled (Gallup) find a gender transition morally acceptable, which means that a maximum number of 62% don't (and the number wouldn't be that high b/c some people will say they are undecided or don't care one way or the other).

I'm sure you populists have no idea that this is the case because you live in an echo chamber, but it's pretty much dead even between those two issues as far as them being "losing" issues with the public.

Why both sides won't let go of either one is another discussion, but you have seen another similarly obvious losing issue that a political party is so obsessed with pursuing. You see it every day.
