No, obviously you don't. I stand by my vote for Trump and trust that he's handling this in the best way for America.
Additionally, Trumps actions in Venezuela has more to do with talking control of our hemisphere than the war on drugs. IMHO

We’ve been hearing about the “war on drugs” since the 1980’s. Until now, it’s all been lip service as most of DC is most likely on the payroll of the Cartels.

How many hundreds of thousands of people need to be killed from drugs before you think it’s ok to make the drug dealers fear us?? How many women and children trafficked into sex slaves?? Do you think they need “due process”?? Because that’s worked out SO WELL for scaring our domestic criminals…

Oh no, the person who thinks an ethnic population that's growing is being genocided is scared.

Guess we have to let drugs flood our country now.

Alcohol use is use the third leading preventable cause of death in the U.S., after tobacco and poor diet/physical inactivity. Hundreds of thousands of Americans die every year from it.

I don’t see us striking Scotland.

Your argument fails to justify treating those citizens as armed combatants in a war.

Truth be told, both Parties are abandoning Constitutional Rule of Law. Dems via Biden abandoned the FIRST duty of the POTUS by opening the Border and importing tens of millions with promises of subsidies for their votes, and now MAGA is doing the same by ignoring the ‘letter’ of the Law to fight against the illegal “fundamental change “ of the which Leftist Dems promote. Dems want to crash this Nation by “whatever means necessary “ in order enact their Democratic Socialist agenda.

This is not rocket science. Anybody that try’s to argue that we are not in a cold civil war is either naive and unable to face that truth, or a partisan and activist for one side or the other.

Talk has become dysfunctional as exemplified up in DC, and both sides know it. It’s coming down to Authoritarian government from one side or the other: and like the ‘Brian Kelly’ thing, we must pay the painful price, clean up the mess and move forward.

Get real if able. Strap in. This ship has sailed.

Like choosing football coaches.

You are not entitled to legal advise to the Executive staff.

You wish you were. And cannot justify a legitimate reason for “need to know.”

Not as bright, gifted or the elevation in career position for the information necessary to run your lemonade stand…….request denied…

Why are DoJ Legal Opinions Justifying Lethal Force Against Venezuelan Civilians a Secret?
Obviously, it's anyone's guess.

It's likely though the memos refer to classified intel and discuss U.S. targeting criteria — when and where lethal force can be used, chain of command authorizations, or coordination with allied forces. Revealing how targets are identified, or what threshold of evidence is used, would entail operational details adversaries could exploit.

Keeping such opinions "secret" is also standard operating procedure. By default, OLC memos dealing with ongoing covert or military operations are classified Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) unless specifically cleared for release. Why? Because as noted above, even if parts are purely legal reasoning, they’re often intertwined with classified operational or intelligence references, making full separation impractical.

Statistics are like bikinis ... what they reveal is interesting, but what they conceal is vital

You are comparing alcohol "use" with drug overdose. Those are not comparable criterion.

In fact, the total number of alcohol overdose deaths in the US rates only about 2% the totals for drug OD deaths. That is despite the fact that roughly 50% of Americans "use" alcohol vs ~ 5% of Americans who "use" hard drugs.

So regarding your attempt at a comparison, the risk of overdose and death associated with alcohol is actually only about 0.2% that associated with fentanyl, etc. That's why you "don’t see us striking Scotland."

You're wondering why intelligence assets identifying them as drug boats are kept secret? Venezuelan government officials double dipping with the cartels and CIA have a very different buyout plan than Brian Kelly.

citizens of who, what or where,

here's the thing jethro, these are unflagged vessel operating in international waters

An unflagged vessel in international waters, also known as a stateless vessel, has no nationality and is not registered to any country. This makes it a lawless entity that can be boarded and seized by any nation, especially if it is suspected of illicit activities like piracy or human trafficking. Stateless vessels lack legal protection, leading to issues like invalid contracts, compromised insurance, and difficulties ensuring the crew's rights.

you need to find something else to worry about jane.
