Joining NATO is not the same as being invaded. And another country joining NATO certainly doesn't mean yours is invaded.

It's where the US has military assets in Europe.

It’s an existential threat to Putin, just like it would be an existential threat to the US if those colors were the Warsaw Pact encroaching in on our borders.

No way we’d tolerate that.

Russia invaded the sovereign country of Ukraine, that's who. Let me know when a country invades Russia...

I must have missed the part where NATO forced the Central and Eastern European nations to join.

It’s not a where. It’s an alliance. NATO hasn’t invaded any of the countries in red. Every lamdmass in red is a sovereign nation, who freely joined and remains in NATO.

Russia is a country, Ukraine is a country. Russia invaded Ukraine. Hope that clears it all up for you and the OP

True, but that more weapons surrounding Russia. I don’t agree with Russia’s style of government and I don’t care for them at all, but they do have a right to not take part in the globalism bs and everyone around them being armed to the gills isn’t something they feel comfortable with.

So in your view Russia’s position that other sovereign nations should not be allowed to determine their own foreign policy is reasonable?

Are NATO countries allowed to get pissed at each other?

Maybe everyone is armed to the gills because Russia keeps invading other countries?

So Russia gets to dictate its neighbor’s foreign policy decisions? What qualifies a country to be able to do that? I’d love for US to be able to set Mexican policy on a few issues.

Why don't we just admit that we all don't know what is really going on?

Things are very clear to me.

Your elementary school level discourse is not needed.
