I didn’t offer $1,000 but one night I ran out of gas with the family in the Yukon and ran to a Walmart to grab a gas can like 11:30 at night and not in a great area. The lines were long even for Walmart. Actually it may have been line - singular.

Anyway I couldn’t wait so I walked up to someone toward the front and offered them $50 if they added my $6 gas can to their cart. They would pocket $40+ just for buying one extra item.

No one took the offer and by the time I was asking the third person another line opened I jumped in front and was out the door.

In this case though a 10 hour flight I am not giving up an inch of leg room.

C1n. When I was a football fan, panthers were my home team, I got to watch cam grow up in front of the cameras. He was narcissistic but I could accept that.

Towards the end, when I stopped watching football, I noticed that cam had become more and more sjw. That helped me put football behind me. I know his sjw-ism is fake, but the fact that he gave in to the pressure, pissed me off.

I would have responded with a "hey, make it three grand and you've got yourself a deal fella!"

Then I would have taken the money and bought a new SIG MPX PCC with a matching can and been happier than a pig in mud.

Sometimes you have to make little sacrifices ... and I'm 6'3" so 10 hour rides are no small thing.

Where was he headed ... Honolulu? I used to make those rides all the time.

$1,500 is insultingly low. That’s probably less than he would have paid for a seat upgrade from the airline

Perhaps he just did not feel like being cramped up for 10 hours and 1500 was not a lot of money. Simplest explanation IMO.

If Cam Newton was in the aisle seat, with the leg room and a random white dude offered him $1,500 to move what does Cam do?

If he doesn't move is he a racist?

Like Cam Newton, this controversy is GAF.

Why isn’t Cam flying First Class on a 10 Hour flight?

Was his seat in first class?

If it was, then $1500 likely did not cover the cost of the seat on a 10 hour flight.

Already said many times, but I just wanted to also say $1,500 would not be worth it for being miserable the next 10 hours. I know the guy is worth tens of millions of dollars and you want to offer $1,500 when I already spent $1,000 on the seat itself...yea bud, maybe an outlandish price that would pay for my whole trip would get me to move.

Cam Newton thinks extra leg room on a 10 hour flight is worth losing $1500.

White man thinks extra leg room on a 10 hour flight is worth losing $1500.

One of these opinions is racist?

If it’s cam newton cash in hand I’d give him my cart and anything in it.

Calling this racist is wild.

Cam doesn’t fly first class?

This is all assuming that Cam was offering to swap seats ... correct?

Maybe, just maybe he turned it down because he wanted the fricking legroom himself on a 10 hour flight. $1500 isn't a ton of money in that situation. It's entirely possible a ticket for a seat with extended leg room on a 10 hour flight costs that much to begin with.

Offer 10k and it's a different story.
