It's a massive breach of the Bill of Rights that should worry everyone, regardless of who the inmate is, because you can't just pick and choose when attorney-client privilege applies. If high-ranking officials are using stolen emails as political propaganda, it undermines the Sixth Amendment and the entire legal process.
I was just reading more about these kinds of constitutional oversteps in this article, and it's wild how often these procedural "shortcuts" are starting to happen lately.
