Sloth/lust/greed

Hard to pick one or the other from those three

I think sloth may be the root off the other two

Envy is the foundation of leftism, which is arguably the dominant political ideology of our time. It's successfully taken over virtually every institution in the west. So I'd say envy.

It’s always been envy.

Pride. Generally fuels all the others in my opinion. The human ego is a hellacious motivator.

The way I see it, we are seeing pride and accountability becoming less common. People with no pride have never been more powerful. Those that cannot take care of their own families are demanding for more.

Airports are more crowded than ever with slovenly passengers. People show up to court like they just got out of bed. Gofundme’s being passed around for criminals. Massive and blatant fraud in social welfare programs. Mainstream Ho behavior in women of all ages. I could go on.

Meanwhile, our entire consumer economy seems to be driven but what other people have. Multiple vacations, $70k+ cars, flagship smartphones, etc are all normal now.

In my view, pride is a control of envy. While pride can be a “deadly sin,” I think it has diminished to a point where envy dominates. And I don’t think it’s a coincidence that women have seized more control from men in this time period

Pride is the root din for all of the fruit sins.

Every sin that we commit is because of pride or goes back to it. We think we’re better than God, we think we deserve things.

For the common man, yes.

Those driving the ideology, no.

Pride and greed drive it, envy lets it grow.

remember the 2 billion that biden tried to give to stacy abrams new ngo. our elected officials have set up government in a way to skim off money for their wealth. that is only one example. look at minnesota and california and their high speed rail grift. total greed and glutony. we are at the end of the line.

Every single one of them, and we all struggle with them from time to time if not every single hour or day because it is our flesh. Matter of fact, our inability to live completely free of them all is why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins instead of our ability to live the law, without which none of us would make it.

Some affect us more than others, but I’d say for men it’s most probably lust, pride, and greed that we struggle with the most. For women it’s most definitely envy and sloth, but this can all inter lap, and gluttony is an equal opportunity deadly sin that we excel at these days.

The rejection of God the Father and Christ the Lord, through blaspheming and rejecting the Holy Spirit: Selfishness personified, in which those listed sins fall under.

envy

Greed to a certain extent is hard wired. Self preservation and preservation and preservation of the species can be misunderstood as greed.

" “Is there some society you know that doesn’t run on greed? … What is greed? Of course none of us are greedy. It’s only the other fellow who’s greedy. The world runs on individuals pursuing their separate interests.”

Milton Friedman

The heart is deceptive above all things (oh and I forgot… and desperately wicked).

None of those “individual” sins stands alone. (It’s the flip side of the fruit of the Spirit. It isn’t “fruits” of the spirit. If you’re producing one, then you’re producing all.)
We aren’t sinners because we sin.
We sin because we are sinners.

So (h), all of the above.

None, but 1 of the Big Ten from God via Moses gets a workout

You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice, nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit.
Exodus 23:1-3

My man HayZeus did the opposite with a single non sin.

In Romans 13:9, Paul lists a number of the ten commandments which can be summed up in the saying "You shall love your neighbor as yourself".

Earning a lot of money isn’t necessarily greedy if you’re earning it through honest work and ethical business practices.

Greed is when the money becomes more important than anything else and you’re willing to cheat people or take advantage of people just to get more money
