Found this online.

A reminder of what Khrushchev said more than 60 years ago...."Your children's children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright; but, we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism.

We will not have to fight you. We will so weaken your economy, until you will fall like overripe fruit into our hands. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not" It was September 29, 1959, when Nikita Khrushchev delivered his prediction for America at the United Nations. Remember the television coverage of him banging his shoe on the podium? At that time, just the word "communism" was feared throughout our nation. Remember this. Socialism leads to Communism

How do you create a Socialist State? There are eight levels of control:
1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people
2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them.
3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.
4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government . That way you are able to create a police state.
5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.
6) Education - Take control of what people read, listen to and take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people.
8)Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the rich with the support of the poor.

WE ARE THERE!
Why can people not see what's going on in this country? Are people really that blind?

There are a bunch of formerly socialist countries in South America. One can hope in time, that will manifest here in 25 years.

Great post.
The Marxist socialist/communists that teach our kids.. that we allowed to brainwash our kids... left this speech, and the real realities of socialism and communism, out of the curriculum. These monsters taught revisionist history on purpose, and here we are....
These young useful idiots will put themselves in hell and do it gladly, thinking they will be taken care of..

Heard this several months back .. you can vote yourself into socialism/communism, but you never vote your way out if it .. unfortunately, we have crossed this line in many parts of our country.

There is no true socialist government anywhere in America…
In fact, I doubt we’ll ever be Denmark, Sweden or the Netherlands(even ( even those examples are not truly socialist states…)

Those 8 items are how you achieve demoralization and help to create destabilization. Another big event is needed to really set that in motion, however (covid, war, etc). Destabilization makes the nation vulnerable to crisis. With crisis comes sweeping change. A 9th item might be collapsing trust in the existing system, and fomenting that anger.

The smart people have been saying for quite some time that Democrats and Republicans are both leading the nation down this road. Less intelligent people think it's only "the other side."

Had an argument with a blue tsunami surfer the other day. He said it's the government's job to provide for the people. This is the mentality out there. I told him that when the government becomes provider, it does not provide anything, instead it controls everything.

The real insidious part is that many people that would otherwise be in the middle and apolitical will become radicalized by corruption and intentional disorder. They will rebel and blame the system rather than those running it.

All of this will get worse before it gets better.

This is hyperbolic bullshite… Americans are tired of not being able to afford shite… while a small segment of the population gets richer… it has nothing to do with people being lazy, uneducated or unqualified… regular people who go to work everyday, who are not making extravagant purchases or frivolous spending, can’t afford shite… why the reasons for it can be debated… the fact that it is the situation at hand cannot…

Payback for forcing the economic collapse of the USSR which might've been a mistake. Will have won the battle but lost the war.

Might have been better off long term maintaining the 1st, 2nd and 3rd regime with spheres of influence.

USSR collapses and globalism prevails leading to proxy wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine and Iran.

GWOT people will tell you that Russia always meddling in OIF/OEF but the MSM never talked about it stateside. Al was declared the official boogeyman and pretended like Russia / Iran connection didn't exist.

Cold War ending and globalism of the 90s 2000s left the door cracked and led to what we seeing today.

I've noticed Animal Farm, 1984, Brave New World, and Fahrenheit 451 have all been removed from my kids reading lists.

These were required reading 30 years ago.

What’s stopping you from making your kids read these books? Take some responsibility for raising your own children. Goodness.

Joe McCarthy warned us in 1947 and took a lot of shite over it in the years the followed. But he was right in the end.

And the answer to that is socialism? Because socialist countries have such an amazing track record?
