Where do we go from here? Who is your preferred candidate in 2028?

I have to say DeSantis for me. Outside the admin, but a proven executive.

I’m not completely sold, but then again we don’t know if any wild cards are going to appear.

Not sure on the right.

On the left I vastly prefer Kamala Harris since she is apparently the only politician on the face of the earth who couldn't figure out how to beat Trump.

Desantis got my primary vote last time.

We need someone who can comprehend and articulate policy.

You are going to have to go far right. These losers that talk a big game then get elected and do nothing of worth have killed the republicans motivation.

Vance would have been a disaster anyway. No big loss there.

Vance or Rubio will get blown out due to being associated with Trump.

I'd vote for Massie but I think 2028 is toast. Just run Vance or Rubio and let them take the L and be gone. Need to start thinking about 2032.

I think the 2016 platform is still correct, and that we still need an outsider like 2016 Trump to come in a drain the swamp like he was supposed to.

DeSantis would be the best candidate but I don’t see a world where he wins swing voters. Too much culture war baggage, and comes across very smug.

Rubio could win but it’s going to take a political masterclass to distance himself from Trump while not alienating MAGA.

I think people need to start preparing for a President Ossoff or Shapiro though unfortunately.

I think an Ossof/Talarico or Abdul/Talarico will win
