Guys gonna hang a banner if we win it all?
re: What has tech and oregon done to get the 4 and 5 seeds?

I know people are going to laugh because Ole Miss has only beaten Oklahoma who I don't think it's very good.
But dude watching Texas tech and Oregon haven't seen f****** s*** from either one of them that shows they should be higher than Ole Miss. Call me a homer but I just don't think they look very good.
I think that if they went into Georgia they would lose by more than eight I'll just say that.

Now let's think about this for a second. Indiana probably has about the same talent as James Madison.
Now before you laugh, they only have seven four stars and the rest of their team is three stars.
I'm sure James Madison also has mostly 3 stars.
Now we can argue well the three stars in Indiana are really four or five stars and the ones at James Madison are probably three stars or maybe even less.
Maybe the scouting has been wrong. Maybe they have a great offensive or defensive coordinator just like Indiana.
Everybody said it was far fetched for Indiana to do what they did, and they're making the same mistake possibly with James Madison.
Really think about it I'm not saying James Madison is good I have no idea I don't know anything about their team. Is it possible that they're three stars are maybe better than people think?

Does this finally show that head coaches don't deserve the credit and the pay that they get and that it's all been smok and mirrors the whole time? That scouting and evaluating talent is all b*******?
If you would want to admit that the scouts and evaluating and all of that could have got this so f****** wrong, then what else are they getting wrong? Does that mean that there really is no difference than a five star and a three-star and if you want to argue that there is a difference then how do you explain what Indiana has done is it just a 25% chance that the scouts got it right and that maybe the five star is really a three-star and the three star is really a five-star?
Is the coach really just that much better than every other coach that has ever existed including Saban and Bear Bryant and all the legends? Doing this much with so much less how do you explain it?
They have no facilities, they have no money, nobody wants to go live in Indiana, they have no talent, but somehow defying all the experts.

It is interesting that this guy stated Indiana when they had no shot, absolutely no f****** shot at even making the playoffs let alone winning it.
The amount of talent Ole Miss has compared to Indiana according to scouts and analysts and recruiting dwarfs the amount of talent at Indiana. Yeah Kiffin felt he couldn't get it done, it may be a stretch but if anything I think it says more about kiffin then it does about Ole Miss. Which is insane to me.

Imagine how easy Oregon has it.

James Madison, Texas Tech, Oklahoma. Joke.

Who's a better Coach the guy in Indiana or Lane Kiffin? The guy at Indiana has done way better with almost zero talent. Kiffin has had four stars out the arse and he still loses to bad Kentucky teams and arkansas, etc?
How is it possible that this person can do so much with so little but Kiffin can't do the same? And this doesn't just go for him but this goes for pretty much every SEC coach.

Why can't any coach or any person do what he's done, why do you think that's not possible? He's not super human he's just a man like you.
Interesting talent gap
Posted by Craig86 on 12/6/25 at 10:55 pm
Indiana ranks last in Big 10 talent 18th.(72nd) Nationally. Ohio State ranks first. Ohio State has 14 5 stars and 56 4 stars. Indiana has 7 four stars.
How do we explain this? Is it just pure luck, or the evaluations are wrong on so many players, is there that much difference between a five star and a three star, is the coach just that much better, how would you explain Indiana being competitive with this sort of talent Gap?

This is the part that gets me and I've really been thinking that it doesn't matter about high school recruiting anymore.
Because you can recruit a kid at a high school who is a four-star and then if he doesn't get the starting job he just leaves for another school.
So recruiting high School is literally pointless because if the kid doesn't start he's just going to leave to another school and therefore the portal is where it's at because can just grab anyone you want. And if that portal kid doesn't start then he can just go to another school.
So it's almost like recruiting and the portal is amorphous you can just wait to see who doesn't start it and just grab them and then all the sudden you build your team with that and you have a top 10 team.
So it doesn't really matter who your head coach is and they certainly don't deserve the money that they get, now offensive coordinators and defensive coordinators if they're actually calling the plays absolutely matter. In fact I would say that you're coordinators matter more than the head coach due to the fact that recruiting and the portal are the way that they are.

Is Baker a new defensive coordinator, if not how come Ole Miss is put like 35 points on them for like 5 years? Seems worse than golding.
Hah you have a bomb shelter! What a kook!

Now I know you're trolling, because I know you're not that f****** stupid. You probably think Trump is a god-fearing Christian man as well. Damn you stupid fricks will believe anything

Remember that one guy on the team who wanted to sue him and that audio leaked. Maybe that kid was right after all.
Henry is a good guy, but man he gets fired up you know who I haven't seen I always thought it was Henry's alter but where the hell is hamzoo reb or whatever that guy's name was.
That guy was always negative man both him and Henry always slung the same s*** as soon as there was a bad play he would be like it's Charlie Weiss's fault he decided to run the ball on third and one and he should have thrown it instead God damn it.

There's no LSU people think this is going to end well for them, he thrives at a place like Ole Miss but you got to be kidding if you think it's going to work at LSU. There is no way their fans will not eat him alive after year one.
We can pull up post after post about how Lane kiffin is not a good coach according to LSU fans, and that Brian Kelly was the end all be all look how many games he won, look at his overall win-loss record, he's going to be able to do so much better at LSU because it's the sec, they have better athletes, better recruiting, better facilities, it won't be like the last coach we fired after winning the national championship, no way.
And that is 100% the truth and they all know it. MELT!

I'm not going to lie, I don't know if I believe the story but if it's true it is f****** weird as f*** and lame. It's just so cringe I don't even f****** know.

My dad graduated from Ole Miss back in the '70s when he would apply for jobs people would ask what that was for what Oxford was.
Someone's dead he just started saying he graduated from Oxford and people were really impressed and then he would tell him it's Oxford Mississippi

How important in today's age is the head coach really? And before you laugh at that question, truly think about it.
Look at someone like Bill belichick everybody said he was a genius, but as soon as Tom Brady left new england, they sucked, and the buccaneers were great.
Is it not possible to have a lower than average head coach with good assistants surrounding him?
If you have good recruiters on your team, a moderate coach, and you have the players on the field, and you can properly motivate them. Is that not a winning recipe? Even looking at a Nick Saban is he really winning the games and does he really require that much money to do so?
