OK, what about Asian and Indians? They seem to do fine?

I bought into it too before I had kids. But your solutions all but guarantee a bleak future for white Americans (and white people across the world), and I’m not going to be a part of that if I can help it.

And I have yet to see a refute on how yours doesn’t lead to war and genocide. It always ends that way with identity politics.

Been reading this thread. One quibble I find with it, is people don't seem to be addressing the fact that the different Identity Groups that are probably going to exist have different interests - and indeed don't like each other much.

Personally I don't think the Republican Party is any too stable. But it is a rock compared to a Democratic Party with some very dichotomous elements in it.

Interesting point. The Dems have brought together this seemingly tenuous coalition of blacks-hispanics-muslims-gays-single women. The only sensible way for them to hold all these various competing groups together is to give them a common enemy & double down on the "It's all whitey's fault" narrative.

It’s like how southern democrats in 60’s and 70’s became republicans. The thing that will change is that both parties will move to the left. This means race will not have as much to do with what party someone identifies with.

The new generations will not remember or identify with MLK like the baby boomers and Gen-X, but they will remember the Trump presidency. This will cause some minority’s to stay in the democrat party, but the movement of both parties will cause moderates and independents to identify with the Republican Party. Some of these moderates and independents will be minority voters.

Independent voters are a larger voting block than people that identify with republicans or democrats.

McConnell/Graham/Ryan Republicans are going to have a pretty hard time finding districts tailor made for them outside a few ritzy areas spread here and there.

I hate to use the term, but these cucks are done for. There is no future for their politics.

The future is bare-knuckled populism vs effete progressivism. I’ll let you guess which is more likely to pick up black and Mexican votes once the change is fully in place.

I would definitely choose war over white genocide.

Oh no, he said white genocide, let’s all pretend we don’t understand statistics and trends.

While I think there are valid points made by the OP, the problem for the current progressive approach to identity politics is that it creates a new values system based solely around identity. This is why it is not a winning formula in the long term, in my opinion.

We get our values from many influences, including faith, our parents, and yes, our tribe. When they create an entirely new values system around an identity of being "oppressed" or traditionally out of power, and ignore or even attack other values, they miss the mark.

That's why it is important for people and parties to stand for solid principles and values. Equating skin color and ethnicity with sexual orientation and transgender illness is a bridge too far for most people.

When a majority of our country starts believing that it is totally normal for men to want to cut their dicks off, we will be beyond the concerns of party politics. We will be irredeemably lost.

Now this may indeed happen, as it is elsewhere. But it is my hope that traditional values among black and hispanic voters will help them to reject the new progressive movement.

So Trump got 29% of the Hispanic vote compared to Romney's 27%. And Trump got 8% of the African American vote compared to Romney's 6%. Do you honestly think those two percent points will ever matter in the long run? It's just sad to what conservatives have been reduced to.

Those 2% points were enough to turn the swings states of Fl, NC, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania blue, and they were enough to hand Trump a YUGE EC victory and that is what counts. If the GOP gains anothe 2% and consistently gets >10% of the African American vote and > 30% of the hispanic vote the dems will never win the White House again. Trump will get those extra 2% points when the economy is kicking arse, his school choice policies are improving education in inner cities and his tough on crime stance is making minority neighborhoods safer.

So in summary identity politics is real, but by focusing on fixing the problems instead of focusing on demographics is how republicans will win in the future.

Wrong. I have been non-white for as long as I can remember and I usually cite for the more conservative candidate. I have voted for a Republicans while working for the government even though it was against my interests but they were better for the country. Southern politics is forever hung up on race and making sure others know they are others. Try making people feel included and incourage them to strive for Western European values. That being said we should also curb immigration as much as possible. We don’t really need more laborers.
