Yes, the nightly canning sessions probably involve some slapping-sounds, too.

Trump doesn't mess with his Treasury Secretaries. Mnuchin was in his last admin start to finish

He, statistically, is on track to go down as one of the worst Treasury Secretaries in modern memory.
Bessent will turn the lights out on every other cabinet appointment if he chooses to stay. He was a former Soros financial advisor and knows how all the illegal cash management the Globalists use to foment terror and chaos in the world. He has strangled Iran way worse than the military.

He has very little to do with any of that.

What do you have against gay people?

I love it when they talk to me like that. That is when I know I am in.

he's literally the only one that's done a good job and is qualified for the position. one of the few that's not a boot licking former fox news commentator.

Some people I follow are saying his juggling of the Yen is genius and will basically hollow out Japan while keeping the US chugging along, but Japan doesn't realize it
They also see Scott expanding this cash swap to other countries, allowing us to weaken them too.
The basic endgame is that the US dollar, and more specifically the digital dollar they are ushering in, will not only remain the world's primary reserve currency but will be stronger than it is now.
That's a bit like making sure the other kids at fat camp are getting far more fatty foods than you are. Everyone is still getting fatter, it's just that your weight gain is slower, thus insuring you remain the skinniest kid at fat camp.
That should allow the USD's valuation issue to get kicked down the road a bit longer, but it's just another band-aid as long as Congress is still hemorrhaging deficit dollars.

Grow out way out of 40 trillion in debt?
Absurd.

In debt to whom?
The Federal Reserve and the private western Central Banking cartel will not survive the Donald Trump era.

Privately owned banks ie the secret federal reserve

The Fourteenth Amendment determines that public debt incurred via fraud/crime is not valid.
This story was deliberately shoved under the rug at the time, but those of us who were paying attention picked up on it.

This story was deliberately shoved under the rug at the time, but those of us who were paying attention picked up on it.
quote:
U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday said his administration was examining U.S. Treasury debt payments for possible fraud and suggested that the country's $36 trillion debt load might not be that high.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said administration officials who have been combing through payment records in an effort to identify wasteful spending have turned their attention to the debt payments that play a central role in the global financial system.
"We're even looking at Treasuries," Trump said. "There could be a problem - you've been reading about that, with Treasuries and that could be an interesting problem."
He added: "It could be that a lot of those things don't count. In other words, that some of that stuff that we're finding is very fraudulent, therefore maybe we have less debt than we thought."
It was not clear whether Trump was referring to debt service or other government payments made by the Treasury Department.

abysmal job growth, GDP growth south of 2%, inflation in the mid-3%, increased deficit spending
How is any of this the responsibility of the Treasury secretary?
All of the above is due to Congress and several presidents
