This is what you said.

quote:

Is that the bill that allowed for 4000 illegal entries a day before border patrol could engage?

That’s not what the bill states. It’s a mischaracterization of the bill.

The bill does not allow for 4,000 illegal “entries” a day. The term is “encounters”.

One encounter does not equate to one person allowed to cross the border and stay in the U.S. The Pew Research Center defines encounters as each time a migrant is taken into custody by border patrol agents or turned away while entering the country.

To claim others are lying when you misstated what the bill does points to you being either ignorsnt or disingenuous, not me.

It’s not my fault you misinterpreted the bill.

Democrats are almost universally worse for gas prices. It's been that way since 2008. So if democrats are concerned about current gas prices, just wait.

That’s a bummer… because The Border Act of 2024 was a $118 billion bipartisan border security and foreign aid package, that failed in the U.S. Senate after Donald Trump and Republican leaders urged lawmakers to oppose it.

Gas has gone down like .75 cents the last 2-3 weeks in my area

We could have had both low gas prices and the Republicans in charge.
Instead, Trump started a war few people wanted and did nothing to help lower prices of everyday living.

The former is obviously worse; the latter is much more noticeable to the median voter (who is an idiot). So get ready for the natural consequences of that.

This sums it up very well.

Answer :a full on invasion by whom?
Higher gas prices nationally are almost a whole dollar Higher than when Trump Started the war with Iran
BTW Trump broke one of the MANY campaign promises..." No more wars."

Hold on to your pants, here's a revolutionary idea: what if we had no invasion AND cheap gas by staying out of the middle east, just like we were repeatedly promised by Trump and his entire cabinet?

As stated, republicans chose not pass the 2024 border protection bill

Did you ever read it? It was toothless junk.

But go ahead and tell yourself that a party and an admin, who threw the gates open, wanted to stem the flow in any meaningful way.

It really does blow my mind how dumb these people are when it comes to politics. But, many of them have been indoctrinated and also lied to by the MSM. Just ashame there aren't more that can actually think for themselves.

Why would the Dems gain control?

What would be the reason that the country would ever swing to the left?

Everyone is saying the Dems are going to win both houses because of gas prices.
