The problem isn’t that you need to convince GOP voters not to vote Dem. You need to convince GOP voters to be inspired enough to go to the polls.

“It could be worse” isn’t very inspiring, but I give you an A for effort I guess.

Lol you think I’m melting. I hate to see what our country has become with people like you voting but I am here for the entertainment watching your state getting overrun by Hispanics. The excuses will be glorious

The people exaggerating the impact of gas prices don't have the ability to understand that millions more people demanding goods and getting handouts from democrats is going to raise prices.

Is there anything dumber than complaining about gas prices and then turning over power to the party whose goal is to eliminate fossil fuels?

These same people who admit that we can't lower gas prices because we are maxed out on refinery capacity will blame Trump for it more than decades of bad policy by the democrats. And to show how upset they are with Trump for raising prices, they will turn to the people responsible for the policy that makes diesel so scarce to begin with.

These are not smart people. They operate purely on emotions.

Why are these our only 2 choices? Like why voting Republican is a nod to accepting higher consumer prices, notably fuel?

Wrong. You are lying. The bill gave discretion to DHS to shut the border if 4000 illegals crossed for 7 straight days. It didn’t require it…it gave discretion. After 7 days of 4000. Then after one day of shutdown reset the clock. Lying and pretending the “border protection” bill protected the border at all is disingenuous. You were either ignorant to what the bill said or intentionally disingenuous in your representation. Either way…shame on you.

Like the majority of your state likely will. Sad but true.

As someone in Louisiana I see nothing from Paxton but tons of Talarico. He did late night the podcasts and can social media. If the younger people vote they are voting for him.
The only negative I see is he supports Trans rights. Which will cost votes but isn't an issue to many younger voters.

That’s the only negative you see?! You truly are a dumbass of epic proportions aren’t you? Lol nah it couldn’t be open borders, DEI, increased government spending for social programs, and all the added costs associated with millions of more 3rd world immigrants

The Dims named bills that on closer investigation had the opposite effect. Inflation reduction act spurred inflation.

That’s a bummer… because The Border Act of 2024 was a $118 billion bipartisan border security and foreign aid package, that failed in the U.S. Senate after Donald Trump and Republican leaders urged lawmakers to oppose it.

Because it was a weak as bill that allowed millions a year to enter, bundled with aid for ukraine.
Now you know what comes after the headlines.
