Nothing. I have a Samsung and it's superior in every way.

I've been asking myself that regarding Google.

I succumbed to letting them have my data for the badass functionality I get for almost free, but I might be willing to say frick it if a war is started.

Itll suck though.

Apple products are overpriced garbage. The iPod was the only product that was top of its class even after competitors came out. Why would you ever use a device that doesn't let you install whatever software you want?

Buncha people talking about giving up Apple still use gmail, Google maps, etc.

It’s a pick-your-poison, but I give Apple the slight privacy edge because from what I can gather they keep your data in-house. Google sells it to anybody with a buck. I’m not an expert and don’t KNOW that to be true so if someone can correct it feel free.

There have been a lot of rumors about the Tesla Pi Phone coming out in January of 23. I hope Elon is opening up an app store at the same time.

I don’t like the idea of going back to android.

There's nothing wrong with Android. It's different, but Android does some things better than Apple and vice-versa. Even if you get the top of the line Samsung phone, it's still running the Google open source programming, so not sure Google's morals are any better than Apple's?

never cared for apple products , there is something Odd about them. Never owned one.
Remember the apple PCs? The McIntosh, the Lisa ?
Now we see that Apple supports communism.

Rotten apple.

I recently switched from Samsung to Apple products just because I’ve been on Android since its inception and never tried Apple. I would have no issues throwing this 14 Pro Max in the trash and going back to a S23 Ultra if they try and suppress free speech. Honestly there’s nothing special about Apple over Samsung they are essentially the same only Samsung has a better camera.

You mean, besides finding a prom date?

Seriously, since the Samsung Note 3, I have never left the series. The only lemon was the Note 8. All others have been STELLAR.

If someone purchases an app on the app store, Apple takes a 30% cut, as I've read it.

What does Apple get if the app is free, but the app developer charges a subscription fee? Is this what Musk is tweeting about?

Bought an iMac and then Photoshop had to upgrade software ... Long story short the machine I bought already had unsupported OS when I bought it and had to pay to upgrade to new OS.

Even if I left the iPhone my work still uses iPads and macs and company raffles, albeit rigged, raffle off many apple products.
