I have no misconception that Google the company isn't just as full of lefty assholes as Apple. I've always hated Apple for their unnecessary proprietary bullshite used to gouge their consumers. itunes, their stupid charging cables, not allowing additional memory cards back when it was necessary, etc.

iPhones used to be great back in the late 2000s. But somewhere after the 4s, their software got old, stale, constricted, and buggy. After busting into the scene with innovation, they've been playing catch-up to everyone else.
The only saving graces for Apple is iMessage and the fact that their products are used for social status purposes.

We use google fi. I have been buying the cheap moto phones from them. In 2020 I got a couple for $50, new. This year I got the moto stylus 5g for $150.
The moto phones are just fine. Sure the cameras could be better, but I'm not spending hundreds for a phone camera.

I haven't used apple since my iPod held my music hostage years ago. frick apple, android has a lot of apps you can't get on Apple too. I'm not a die hard android guy , I just despise apple.

This is after all “tigerdroppings” and filled with loyal LSU fans even though the school lit up a state owned stadium in George Floyd’s high school colors and took the name of a WWII hero who donated a lot of money to school off the library and would not return his war medals to his family.

Everyone in the house at one time had an iPhone. Now everyone except my wife has gone the Samsung route. I really don't miss anything from the iPhone. They all do the same stuff.

I keep seeing this and I don't get it. I have an iphone, wife has a galaxy. I text her, she texts me. I don't do anything different and I have no idea what sort of phone I'm messaging 99% of the time anyway. Is it just video/pictures that are the issue?

Could be worse than you think. My completely apolitical wife is upset about this and is ready to drop apple, and we have a lot of apple. If she noticed, a lot more people noticed than apple was anticipating.
