Nixon in 1972. He ended the draft and saved my arse from going to Vietnam. Voted R ever since. Reagan and Trump are my favorites. Nixon got the Trump treatment from the press. Nixon’s Watergate is nothing compared to what Obama tried to do to Trump and our country. Can you imagine any other president giving pallet loads of CASH to a known enemy who kidnapped and held American citizens hostage for over a year? That was on Carter.
Carter damn near bankrupted the country with his 21% interest rates when I was trying to buy my 1st house. He was the worst president by far until Obama came along. At least Jimmy is a nice man. Dumb but nice.

I’ve never voted for a Democrat. First time for everything.

In '72 I was a volunteer for the CREEP campaign, but wasn't old enough to vote, yet. Voted Ford in' 76.

George Bush 2004. Obama might be the only Democrat I’ve ever voted for and I don’t even think he was that great of a president. He might as well be George Washington compared to Trump, but I really didn’t care for his policies after he was elected and the constant droning of civilians never sat well with me.

Reagan.
2016 was the only election that I did not vote GOP. Voted LPA.
Donald Trump is NOT the GOP that I have supported for more than 30 years. A host of idiots who were voting Dem ten years ago will now call me a RINO.
Downballot, i have historically voted about 90% GOP. It will probably be 60-80% this year, with the balance LPA. The GOP is just running too many Trump acolytes now.
The only position I typically support half or fewer of the GOP candidates is Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Vis-a-vis criminal defendants, too many GOP judicial candidates tend to forget the Constitution in their zeal to appear “law and order.” In Texas, it is just a protest vote, but LPA will probably get my vote on most of those positions.

Mine was 2000. 19 years old and voted Al Gore. I’m glad it didn’t work out, but I was more liberal back then. My candidate has only won twice (Bush ‘04, Trump ‘16). Hopefully I’ll be batting .500 come November.
I hate Gore but how could he have been worse? Is it possible top be worse then Dubya?
I first voted in 1976. Voted for Carter yikes. Jon Anderson in 80, did not vote again for president until 92 and that was libertarian.
