Unequitable? Did you mean to use that term?

won't take much more migration to flip Wyoming and Montana, and even the Dakotas
It's going to take a lot to flip Wyoming and the Dakotas. First, the Dakotas are more red today than they were 50 years ago. SD for example - you're forgetting that Tom Daschle and George McGovern lorded over that state for more than a minute but a long time ago, so to see a Dem breakthrough and win a race here and there would not be unprecedented.
Wyoming ain't turning blue. FFS - the last Dem to win a congressional seat was back in the 70's and the state has voted 70% for Trump three elections in a row.

They do.
But it’s open carry of legal firearms.

How do Pot heads afford to live there? Van life?
I saw some thing about how modest single family homes in Denver were 50k in the 1980s and are now like 1.2 million.
Is this propped up by two young working educated white people just choking on a Home mortgage?

Yep. I knew of several fellow longhorns who just up and moved to Colorado. And then tried to get others to move there. All because of politics. Addition by subtraction, I say.

Why do they waste their time with this?

here's an example I heard over and over and over again:
before legal weed: people would tell me how much they loved colorado and were looking for recommendations with good neighborhoods, good schools, access to trails, etc
after legal weed: people would tell me how much they loved colorado and were looking for recommendation for places close to a wide choice of dispensaries, with good mass transit, and the greatest amounts of public assistance programs
and that was even before it became a sanctuary state
note as well that they're not stopping w/ weed - magic mushrooms are on the way in now and the plan is to expand drug legalization after that somewhat like Portland tried (but of course they think they'll make it work better here)

Mail in balloting happened. Since that occurred the state took a turn. Remove it and it goes back.

The same thing that happened to Oregon, Washington, Montana, soon to be Texas, and next up…..is Idaho.

Wyoming and Montana could certainly be flipped by a bit of Democrat migration. I don't see that happening in the Dakotas though. There's just not much in the Dakotas to draw migrants from other states. Montana and Wyoming have beautiful mountain scenery, great fishing and hunting, etc. The Dakotas have a lot of wheat and canola fields on open prairie. But you make a very valid point.

Yeah. It takes a special amount of brainwashing to see all the hobos in Denver and the stuff going on with Venezuelans in Aurora and somehow think the policies are good.

Another Red state run by a large Blue city.

Even though Colorado and Wyoming are located right by each other, Wyoming’s weather is way harsher than Colorado’s. Unless companies start moving there, the population won’t boom. It’s too dang cold for all that.
That said Wyoming is safe from California infiltration.
