introducing a line similar to Patagonia/REI type
Great idea. I began using products from those companies when I began climbing rock/ice. They were beautifully made and worked. The gear was bombproof and the clothes were functional.
Patagonia is the worst.
I climb and fish and don't own 1 item of theirs.

I see carhartt mentioned a few times but they are woke Nazis. They forced long time employees to lose their job for refusing the jab even after the SCOTUS ruling. There was massive backlash and boycott from the right.
LINK
It came after Carhartt CEO Mark Valade emailed workers a day after the US Supreme Court ruled against President Joe Biden’s retirement for big employers to ask workers to be vaccinated, to remind employees that they were still subject to a company mandate.
“We put workplace safety at the very top of our priority list and the Supreme Court’s recent ruling doesn’t impact that core value,” Mr Valade wrote in an email that was shared to social media.
“We, and the medical community, continue to believe vaccines are necessary to ensure a safe working environment for every associate and even perhaps their households,” the CEO of Carhartt continued, calling an unvaccinated workforce “both a people and business risk that our company is unwilling to take”.

Asics, Brooks, Mizuno are the only one I didn't see on a list of BLM or woke donators.

Havent they been pushing their advertising towards the younger hip (ie woke) crowd?
I definitely look for a companies "mission" page in their site more now to see if my purchase is going to be sent off to some woke cause. Sadly many are.
Just make the product and stop virtue signaling. If anything this garbage and covid did wonders on curing my shopaholic side. Saved tons of money the last few yrs in my random late night can't sleep "oh those look cool" shopping budget.

Drop them off the list. Jeremy from the quartering used to wear their hats all the time, until they recently went to Uber woke. Now he doesn’t wear their stuff on camera anymore.

There are tons of small manufacturing startups across the country that people like you will scoff at - too expensive, too hipster, too "woke", etc.
I'd prefer to not support any person or company that threw their arms around BLM in 2020 while they were burning, looting, and rioting. Nothing about that was okay and anyone who thought it was is a useless piece of shite.

I was going to say I'd never seen any BS from my standard running shoe company, Altra (founded in Utah, probably by Mormons). But it appears they were bought out by Vanity Fair, which is full woke.
Can't escape it, even in running shoes.

Can you provide some examples of BRCC being woke? I currently order from them, but I've never seen anything woke from them.

You mean the most intolerant of others? Hates any non whites and gays?

Hoka doesn’t do much big advertising but I’ve never checked their social media
The shoes are the most comfortable I’ve worn though.
New Balance woke these days? Their top of line shoes are great too.

At least relative to the industry, NB isn't woke

Yeah, they pissed me off during the COVID. But Levi Straus makes a much better Carhartt-style work jacket than Carhartt. They may well be even woker but I don't know. And that's kind nd of what I'm looking for in a clothing manufacturer.
I've read that Brooks and New Balance are both supposedly. anti-woke on shoes
I recently got a pair of Cole Haan tennis shoes I really like but don't know their politics.
And of course if you want to go all the way to the anti-woke extreme there's always Hugo effin Boss. Quality stuff, troubling history.
