If asked I just usually say “vaccine?...for what?”

They usually get a weird look on the face and a bit of a pause...”for covid”...

Then hit them with the “Never heard of it” and go about my day.

Whenever progressives ask if you are getting the vaccine

Only prog/libs that have asked me if I'm getting vaccinated were my mom and her sister.

I said no and they asked why, so I answered, "I'm healthy and low risk, and I don't trust a rushed vaccine that was only given an emergency 'okay' by the powers that be. I'll take my chances."

They accepted that answer much better than I anticipated and the conversation moved right along.

Lol. First polio vac was an utter disaster and resulted in the deaths of numerous kids before it was shelved.

Whoops.

Not to mention the SV-40 virus that was included in the polio vaccine until the early 1960s that continues to trigger it's payload of death even today. Check out how many people are dying from pancreatic cancer - not sure this type of cancer is linked to SV-40 yet, but I suspect it will be.

If someone asks if I have been vaccinated, I answer with a question, "why wouldn't I?".

They usually lose interest and are on to the next question.

What am I misinformed about? Why am I stupid to not get a vaccine for a virus that isn’t remotely going to come close to killing me? I had it already. I don’t get the flu shot either.

They always fricking run and never follow up. I know its just a troll but at least defend your position

I got the tetanus booster a month ago bc I stepped on a roofing nail in the yard. Unless they specify covid, I reply with yes.

First polio vaccine probably isn’t a good example to use. You should probably research it’s link to simian virus.

Kinda like how your shooting yourself up with a vaccine that hasn’t been tested. You don’t know the long term effects because you are the test subject.

Oh and did you know every animal they tested these vaccines on died?

The bigger thing is that vaccinated people are inexplicably wearing masks.

This. I went to a White Sox game last night with some coworkers, and two of the girls who were vaccinated wore masks around us all night. I only know they got the vaccine because they couldn't wait to tell us when they did.

Meanwhile, everyone else in the group were shaking hands and high-fiving without masks on. No idea if any of them have been vaccinated because we've never discussed it.

I'll never say never to getting the vaccine, but considering Biden says it's my "patriotic duty", Fauci continues to fear monger, my local government still has restrictions in place, and vaccinated people are still wearing masks, I'm not particularly motivated to get it.

I say I’m not at risk and the people I interact with who are have been vaccinated. Since I’m not at risk, I think a relatively unproven vaccine poses more risk to me than covid.

Exactly, everyone’s needs are different! I don’t need nor want this vaccine...doesn’t mean I have a problem with vaccines in general. Vaccines are not a one size fits all thing. Same as say someone like my Dad who is 84...he is fine to get one. His time is limited regardless thus his needs are different than mine.

In the stead I could just say something just as accurate, that it’s none of their damned business what I do!

What is the mortality rate of each of those?

Polio had a mortality of around .1%.

Only 0.5% of cases had the muscle weakening/paralysis that it’s famous for.

70% had no symptoms at all and the disease resolved without ever knowing they had it.

I had a family try to push it on me when I got home. I politely declined and she kept on ,and I told her I love her,but just drop it and she did. Other than that most people I have spoken with do not want it either. I am all about people making their own health decisions and as long as they are not forcing their decisions on others it is fine. Now my wife got into it with a co worker who kept on with her bullshite. My wife told her that she will not take a vaccine for a virus she have already had with no symptoms. My wife works with a bunch of leftist who are scared of their own shadow and despises every second of their non sense.

You do know that animals that test subjects are euthanized so scientist can study the entire body. So yes the animals did die just not from the vaccine.

“Figured you weren’t”.

That’s what I get told.

I work with a fair amount of young libs and they celebrate the shots like a personal achievement.
I am in meetings where they cheer each other, jazz hands in air - “yaaaay, you got your second dose! Whoop whoop”.

I was discussing why I wanted to wait until I get the vaccine with another RN when this person comes over and starts by saying. Trump is the cause of people not getting vaccinated! He has scared people to death and Biden is trying to assure everyone it’s totally safe and effective! After a second or so , I told her to get the f&$k out of my conversation!!!
